Where do you stand on the Cotto-Margo quit thing...???

I understand it's off topic, I would just like to see that you are indeed fair.

People really fail to see the brilliance of Wladimir, he's one of the most dominant champions of all times.

Good job avoiding what I said.:good

Peter could have easily avoided Wlad's tactical clinching. He could have stopped falling in his chest like an amatuer. That's the reality of it. If Peter wasn't so outclassed he would have been able to mount a respectable attack from arms reach, rather than having to try and bumrush Wlad, and throw haymakers to the back of his head. It isn't Wlad's fault that he is a few levels about Peter in boxing talent.

At least I can give posters like you credit, you stay with your man through thick and thin. Look at FourtyOunce, I went back and forth with him for months pre- Vitali vs. Peter and he insisted how much of an idiot I am and how wrong I would be and all that BS.

What happened, he practically disappeared, like Pantera2000.
I like your knowledge, I just think you're very wrong about Wladimir.:good

I also think posters like Widdow are having too much love for their man, almost anyone can be criticized, especially Wladimirs outings against Peter and Ibragimov.

Thanks, you were a worthy adversary before we became cool. :D

...but WLAD needs to step up and tell ViTKLiT that he's ruining it for him, but the more you look at it, WLADamir seems party to the jockeying...the KLIT Flip in particular.

It's honestly because they simply aren't true fans of this sport. They have no idea what the point of boxing is. Hit and not be hit... it's actually really simple. Wlad displays pure dominance in the ring, and shows that he is a master of this sport. He completely controls the fight, the distance, the output, ect... he dismantles his opponent... and then he takes them out.

If someone like Sam Peter had Wlad's boxing skills he would do the same damn thing. All of these "warriors" do so because that is what their skill set forces them to do. I have been around, and I can tell you that there isn't a fighter out there that loves getting hit, it's bull****. Fighters that are great enough to dismantle and stop opponents without being hit, do it. Fighters who have to put themselves in harms way in order to win fights... do it... sometimes. That's just the way that it is. Why do you think that Gatti would use his boxing abilities, move, and outbox fighters who weren't as good as him at tactical boxing? Because he could. Gatti would turn into a warrior when he couldn't do that to his opponent.... or when his mental lapses, and lack of focus wouldn't allow him to keep following his gameplan.

Do you think that if Lamon Brewster had Wlad's skill set and size, that he would be fighting the same way that he does now? Hell no. Brewster does that because he has to. He doesn't have the ability to dominate a fight in the manner that Wlad does.

I try to answer your questions, but they seem to be never good enough for you. Wlad gets hurt way too easy by seemingly medicore shots, and the only time I seen him take big time shots, is when he fought Sanders, and we all know what happend in that fight, and as you could see by my avatar, Wlad didnt fare to well that night.

Peter was pretty much an ametuer that night, he just turned 25 just a few weeks before the fight and his best oppenent up to that point was Yanqi Diaz IMO, thats hardly enough experience to jump in the ring with Wlad Klitschko, a former champ and thought to be the next big thing in the division. That still doesnt take away from the fact that Peter made Wlad look like scared fighter at times, and had him falling over the place in spots, and when the fight was over, Peter lost a close fight to the best fighter in the world, nothing to be ashamed of.

Saying Cotto quit is stupid. Just like saying Tszyu quit vs. Hatton. It's stupid and ignorant. Cotto took a beating from Margarito, he was battered and bloodied and took a ton of punishment. Whatever he was feeling, headache, beaten, exhausted, he felt he did not want to take any more. Surely he factored in how strong and fresh Margarito was still feeling and made the decision, Hey I did my best I can't beat this guy tonight, he's too strong, he's the better man tonight. Cotto is a warrior through and through, Margarito just wasn't going to be denied that night. Cotto did not have to take any more punishment to prove anything about his bravery to anyone.

Tszyu was the same thing. He took a lot of pounding from Hatton and whatever he was feeling in his body and head at age 35 and 30 years as a full time fighter, he felt he didn't want to take anymore and stopped fighting. Just like Frazier did in Manila. For any armchair warrior to condemn these incredible warriors as quitters is pathetic and laughable.

At least Cotto got in there with Margarito after waiting a month to sign the contract. mayweather won't and will never ever get in there with Margarito. If you are going to call anyone a quitter or worse, send it in mayweather's direction.

There is a difference between being criticized... and what they guys do. I really don't care what anyone thinks about me, to be honest. I have criticized Wlad in the past myself. I knew that he had weaknesses, and I used to point them out all of the time. I also know that he has gotten better and better since he has been under total control of Steward, and now he just gets hate that has no place.
