Which is odd because he has very little skill. Luckily for him he has the most useful intangibles, power and a granite chin.

Good god no, no rematch please.

Silva won all 3 rounds, and Cote didn't really show any effective offense.

As for the Cung Le, I just don't see that happening at all; he doesn't have great power, would be the much smaller man, and doesn't pose any threat at all on the ground.

It would be interesting just because they are both great strikers and fun to watch, but if the fight goes to the ground, which is almost certain to happen at least once during a 5 round fight, its completely lopsided, and even standing I would favor Silva.

Maybe a 3 round fight Le could keep it standing and win a decision, but I wouldn't favor him in any particular aspect of the fight.

I still think the best way to beat Silva is to be a great submission artist. Although after watching him sub Lutter, GnP Marquardt, and sub Henderson, who is damn near impossible to sub, I just don't know if Demian Maia or Toquinho could first make it through Silva's standup, and then work through his own very good ground game to sub him before they end up getting hurt.

I don't think Bisping has anything at all for him, Lindland will probably never fight in the UFC again, and I don't think he could ground out 5 rounds and really don't see him stopping Silva, Okami looked pretty good in their first fight, but Silva has gotten alot better and was fighting at 175 in that fight while Okami has continued to look good, but probably not good enough.

Beebs - the one thing you always ignore about Cung Le is that he does have kicking power. It's not the one kick Crocop KO type power - but he has solid kicking power that breaks his opponents down.

Well he does have decent power, just not great power. I mean he could concievably KO anybody, but I just don't see it.

Toquinho has what it take to make it to the ground. Hendo caught him several time FLUSH, and the guy still kept coming. And Hendo's takedown defence is much more greater than Silva.
    Rousimar has an oustanding chin

Silva is levels above Le in every department, including striking, where Cung gets very overrated IMO.

Hell no, why would we want to see a rematch when you already know who is going to win. cote didn't oppose a threat to silva. I want to see a more challenging fight.

Lets see how Cung Le does on the ground against a top guy before we put him anywhere near the top of the division, much less near Silva.

    They are training partners.

I will repeat Cung is not in the same league as A.Silva, unless somebody can become as good as him with more speed and ability he will remain unbeaten in the UFC and the UFC should be grateful as they got Silva for a bargain price.
