    It's a culture thing.

Most Filipinos never talk negatively about another person or his loved one or whatever it is he's passionate about, especially in that person's presence.

If you're looking for a fight though, you can do that.

Many Filipinos have a short fuse when someone "criticizes" or "belittles" them.

Word of honor, reputation and losing face is still a big thing for many of us.

So they sometimes fight back hard when they feel they are being "disrespected".

The reality of the "disrespect" doesnt matter to them sometimes.
    The perception is.

You can't attack a specific poster coz there is nothing crazy that they are saying. It's easy to attack somebody if the fans is out of hand. In this case you can't attack anybody coz nobody is going beyond logic here!

Now, if you enjoy this thread. Think of another DEAD boxer who can beat PAC! After all some boxing fans enjoy Knocking out PAC in their wildest dreams!

Like they say if you can't beat them in real life at least you can beat them in your dreams!

    cheers!

hey.. what are you aiming at... when someone would pick pac against sanchez or thinks that this match is a tossup does that mean they're always delusional?

you can never underestimate pac.. in every match up he's with, he always exceeds expectations

that's why fantasy matchups are bull****. you'll never know who will win, esp if they're both elite boxers, until you get them on the ring.

stop generalizing. just post your opinion dimwit

There's a high probability that Pacquiao would end the night curled up on the floor crying after the savage beating Sanchez would bestow upon him.

In light of the fact that Sanchez went 27 rounds over two fights with the guy in my avatar, stopped him twice, and rarely blinked, I'd say that Pac has never encountered the kind of chin that Sal had.

Red Lopez?? Hes a good fighter (tough guy) but please hes crude defensively. Sanchez biggest win is beating a smaller Gomez at 126. Gomez was great but was Koed in all fights at 126 he was never any good at that weight. Sanchez other defense has been a struggle but people dont mention that to pay respect to him. Dying at 24 also gets you elevated at diety level, thats the truth. He was no greated than JCC in my book, no way!!
I can say that had he rematched a more experienced Nelson, it could have been a different story instead of the two week notice replacement 13 fight veteran that he faced in a hard fought match

You really really have to watch all of Sanchez's defenses because his career was about as good as any could be in that short amount of time...the guys he "struggled" with were pretty bloody good fighters. Pat Cowdell was a brillant amatuer, who had a very high paced and difficult style to deal with style..The just about never stopped moving and jabbing..he would have been a nightmare for anyone that night.

I think you are basing the statement he struggled on that fact he has a SD and an MD in there but I have never heard anyone say there were any controversy in those fights.

Its quite simple really Manny just wasnt as good then (at featherweight) as he is now...Therefore thats why many feel Sanchez would have beaten him there.
