Hatton moved from side to side a lot against Paulie......

If you think that Manny will be the one doing the backing up, you are crazy.

Nobody has ever backed Hatton up - even in the late rounds against Floyd he was chasing him around the ring. He has fought on the back foot (more in and out really) before, against bigger guys like Urango and Ben Tackie..... but never been backed up.

Def not a mismatch, but I expect PAC to obliterate him. In boxing you never know until the bell rings though and who knows, maybe Hatton will smack down PAC.

Pac definitely has a good chance, and I am not surprised that many people are favoring him in this fight.

I am just seeing the more proven Hatton at 140 to take Manny's power and overcome the speed factor with his pressure.

For a guy that doesn't jab a lot......

Hatton is regularly over 600 in the punch count - indicating pretty fast hands and a sustained body attack.

Can Pac take bodyshots from a proven power hitter at 140 - Diaz and DLH didn't throw any......

It would be interesting to see who they get in for sparring for this one......

I could see Hatton going back to Steve Forbes (who he has used before) or even Jamie Moore/Ryan Rhodes.

Pac might stick with Amir Khan, but I don't think it would help.... why bother sparring with a guy who is hopeless on the inside?

in some of hattons worse performances when he bores straight in that's true, but there is more to him than that.de la hoya after the first couple of rounds never even got his jab off, there was nothing.so he was stationary and throwing nothing,i would suggest there would a hell of a lot more coming from hatton.he can use the jab, and he can move from side to side, and if he can get inside manny and instigate enough exchanges in there, get the body shots off and man handle manny this could be close.i certainly wouldn't rule out a hatton win,but i do expect pacman to prevail.

Thats what will probably happen. But saying its going to be a blowout for pac just because he stopped the skeleton known as oscar, he will batter hatton im just not having that. IF pac wins i'll give him all the credit just like i did when floyd beat him but I hope hattons detractors come out and say oh hatton was to big for pac if he wins.

Glad too see Hatton getting the respect if he deserves.
I'd pay to see this fight.

if Hatton wins I will say (among other things) he was too big for Pac i think that's rather obvious. Just like if Pac wins I will say he was too fast for Hatton

doesn't make someone a Hatton detractor to say he's bigger than Pacquiao. seems obvious

this is a very competitive fight but i'm leaning towards pac on this one.

hatton will probably out-weight pac by about 4 lbs. but pac will equalize this with his speed and better offensive and defense skills. i see a late round TKO or UD for pac here.

Pacs going to bust this kid up. Hattons going to be walking into the Destroyer all night and should get stopped by the 8th round in a classic

I like these old threads. No one mentioned then that Hatton was already destroyed by Floyd but now that is the battle cry of the *****s. A lot of posters bet then that Hatton will win this fight.
