All UFC fighters are in-house, but not all MMA fighters are in the UFC. I actually prefer the boxing system it's actually less political. Imagine how sick we'd find it if Top Rank and Golden Boy fighters were only allowed to fight each other and for their own in-house promotional belt.

I wonder whether UFC fans will put up with this or become the jaded, cynical, sad sacks us fight fans are.

I cant watch MMA anymore. the first fight sould've been stoped along time ago. and Forest was taping out way before they stoped the fight. its not cool at all, they need to learn how to stop the fight. to brutal for me to watch anymore. Silva was KO on 1 punch and they still let Rampage hit him like 3 more times, to much for me.

boxers demand more money than ufc fighters so putting on a boxing card would cost way too much. thats just how it is.

also, there are too many titles in boxing. if you are in the ufc you fight for the ufc. thats would be like you fight for the wbc and only the wbc. but there are 4 titles (sanctioning bodies) in boxing that are hurting the sport.

either way I love boxing and it will never die. it has always had its ups and downs. mma and boxing are different sports and im sure they will both do fine in the years to come.

I agree, Boxing could learn from the UFC. Can't understand the 'shut up' comment, does this dude like watch **** match-ups. Or does he hate the fact that UFC is so popular, trying to keep people quiet isn't gonna make the UFC go away you know.

I like boxing and UFC, hopefully thats not a crime.I'm glad the UFC is doing so well, hopefully it will make boxing make better match-ups. Which to be fair of recent has been happening more.

Watched UFC 92 last night great fights on the undercard. Unlike Pac vs Hoya.

This is 110% CORRECT. Anyone who shelled out 54 dollars on December 6th got ripped off like a MOFO. The Undercard was putrid. Typical GBP. I would like to see a trend in PPV Boxing that has a cap of 34.95, and for that, we get a SOLID main event, and at LEAST 2 other main event type dogfights, and a chickfight. And show the ****ing Ringcard Girls. MMA also uses Free Spike TV to promo a lot of fights, and this works well.

UFC is excellent. The best fighters always fight each other, NO Bull**** promotional delays, no multiple belt crap. Its an up and up sport.

This is not true at all. Just look at the Affliction card..Its ****in stacked!
Check out NYEs event in Japan..it is loaded. Boxing needs to get its act together, without Floyd and PAc with two years to go..no Heavyweight prospect in the horizon..its not looking bright

-First of all you are an idiot.
-Secondly what I said was referring to something which would HELP boxing.
"Boxing NEEDS to stack its shows with a product that consumers will appreciate and want more of. The UFC now advertises upcoming shows months in advance without announcing who the matches are and sells them out immediately! Its because they put out a great product for the fans. People still want good entertainment even in hard economic times."
