i see your point about nelson. yet, how was he able to ko a still powerful former champion in gomez almost immediately he lost to Sanchez? they were about the same age, it's not like if Sanchez had been champ for that long. that just proves Sal's win over nelson wasn't a fluke. plus gomez became champ again by beating lockridge in a close fight. i'm a pacfan, i even like him better than jmm even tho i think he lost both fights to jmm, but at 126 sanchez wasn't even in his prime yet and i don't buy that bull**** of gomez losing because he went up in weight. he was p4p THE hardest puncher of that time and that he was getting ***** the night before Sanchez also had the same rep. it would of been close, but Sal had a much better chin than Morales, Barrera, or Marquez and he beats Pacquiao him easily. has nothing to do with Sanchez being an oldie, simply that's how good he was and he didn't even get to reach his best at 23. i think he'd reach his peak at 25-28.

See the bold part. That's exactly why he got his ass beat by a great counter puncher. I was talking about CHIN ONLY! Danny never hurt Sal. If Danny didn't hurt him, Pac sure as hell wouldn't.

manny might own little red in just about every category, but power was not one of them. like hamed, he had that one punch ko power. manny has always been a fast, hard puncher, but he'd usually finish his guys off after dropping them prior. all it took was one punch from lopez and it was over. lopez was like the gatti of the early eighties

Yes, Filipinos are all about reality......imagining that judges are never manipulated and that corruption does'nt exist in a sport run by scam artist!

Last night I watched Sal vs Juan Laporte, Juan was built like a tank similar to Hurango the fight was brutal I recommended so people could appreciate what special fighter Sal was.

I ate bonafide crow one time as far as a Pac fight is concerned.....the second Morales fight.

....beside that, I've been right in my analyzation of Pac fights, and that includes the DLH fight in which I wrote a post stating that p4p Pac would handle DLH just like he did MAB!

You get the taste Silvermags that I'm a Pac hater because of my passionate posts in regards to those JMM fights.

I dont hate Pac, to the contrary, its always a treat to myself to watch him fight.
.....but something I'll always do in this forum is state of which I feel is correct......and that includes JMM and his other fights beside Pac.

I've been one of the few in this forum to point out that neither Pac or JMM has faced great opposition beside eachother at any weight above 126 lbs.

I keep hearing about JMM and Pac handling the weight at 130 lbs and on above, but I have yet to see them face competition that would convince me that they could handle natural bonafide World caliber fighters at those higher weights above 126 lbs......
......for example, I'm not convinced either Marquez or Pac would be able to beat say an Edwin Rosario caliber fighter from the past at 135 lbs, much less the true greats of that weight like Duran, Chavez, Whitaker, etc.....

The Hatton fight for Pac will be a true measuring stick for me, as he's a bonafide 140 pounder that I'd personally rank at the Rosario level, which to me is a very high level!

At the moment, I think *******s overrate both the accomplishments of Pac and JMM in their fights above 126 lbs.
    How's that for being impartial?;)

    ............WOW! here we go agian!

JMM lost due to the judges were not looking!
JMM lost due to the judges incompetent
JMM lost coz pac is being protected

JMM lost NOT because of himself but because of somebody......YES, JMM is not to be blamed for where ever he is right now!

JMM is NOT to be blamed for his POOR resume. Only to fight great fighters on the latter part of their career. It's NOT JMMs fault.

JMM is not to be blamed on his loss to Norwood and C John.

JMM is not to be blamed by not being recognized or respected as PAC

JMM is not to be blamed why he only got 30k for his fight in indonesia

oh ANOTHER THING. Yes, corruption exists

PAC is not where he is right now due to corruption! He is there right now due to his ACTUAL PERFORMANCE!

Do you HONESTLY BELIEVE PAC is there right now being #1 p4p. Winning 3 fights in 3 weight divisions all at the same year is due to CORRUPTION?!

    DIVAC,

When will YOU STOP the BLAMING game?! You were quick to point out that PAC will blame roach if he losses?! DAMN! If PAC losses he only BLAMES himself. He's not the type who is looking for somebody to BLAME!

Yes, I do believe CORRUPTION in any sport exists but NOBODY becomes #1 p4p for over 260weeks due to CORRUPTION!

JMM was knocked out 4 times not due to corruption
David Diaz was TKO'd not due to corruption
ODLH face was closed to being disfigured not due to corruption
Mab's loss 2x with PAC was not due to corruption
Morales loss 2x with PAC was not due to corruption

You can get away probably get away with a win due to corruption but YOU'LL NEVER STAY #1P4P DUE TO CORRUPTION!

All the 30 sports writers in yahoo voted PAC #1 p4p! are they ALSO corrupt?!

Move on with your life DIVAC! Too bad your favorite boxer JMM will never reach the level of PAC wether you like it not! Might as well accept the PAINFULL TRUTH than BLAME or point on somebody ALL YOUR LIFE why is JMM only like that compared to PAC.

The "like that" word is used so you'll have a free hand to describe JMM on your own choice of words...

    Cheers!

    None of the above!

JMM's losses have been mainly to blame to the obvious fact that corruption in boxing has existed for as long as anyone can remember.

I'm not about to go over this with you again Silvermags.....you pickout the most insignificant part of my posts and run with it......you're like the little kid on the PeeWee football field that gets handed the ball and runs with it in the opposite and wrong direction.

Point blank....watch round 6 of the JMM-Pac rematch.
That round cannot be confused for a Pac round by Pac's own mother.
......yet two out of three judges scored the round for the Pacster.

If that does'nt tell you that JMM was'nt put in a huge ditch to dig himself out of from the very first sound of the opening bell, I dont know that nothing will convince you othewise.

Shut me the **** up by going ahead and watching that round, and come back here and tell me that you could definitely see that round being confused for a Pac round!

That round 6 to me sticks out like a sore thumb and proof that the judges in this fight (like in many) were not going to be judging it on the up and up.

Let me tell you folks something, Manny Pacquiao's mother and Grandmother gave round 6 to JMM!!!!

Sorry Divac, I'm not into fantasy fights you very well know that. For me you can ko pac all you want in those fantasy fights. it's all opinion and for me opinion is not = truth. You'll really never know coz it never happened. Sometimes opinion even majority opinion = truth. How many times did pAC defy the odds?! or the majority of opinion.

    LET's stick to reality

pac vs hatton - who wins?! no if's no buts'
