JMM should edge it but Im truly excited by this one...Will be much harder then a lot of people seem to think, Im nearly at the point of changing my prediction for this one.
I think I just want to see JMM win because I want to see JMM-Pac III.

Going to be a great match.

Yeah, I think JMM will win by UD, but Diaz is going to come to fight. I'm a fan of both, so it's going to be hard cheering for one.

This has been one of my dream fights for a good bit now. I'm still havin' problems deciding who I wanna see prevail here though. I have pretty much equal liking and respect for both fighters with a slight tendency to favor JMM.

I have a feeling Diaz will win. This is a time for redemption for him.
He's a natural lightweight and has powerful punch to KO Marquez.

Marquez... he is more hungry and focus to win this. Losing this one, take him out of the Pacquiao line up.

Baby Bull may be hungry for a win also, but not as hungry as Marquez.

    I can't wait for this.

JMM is a very underrated puncher. I think he hits harder than Morales or Barrera. Pac was very weary of his punches more than he did against Morales and Barrera.

Diaz will respect JMMs power in this fight and will try to box and lose a UD.

Actually, Daiz is equally hungry in the sense that he lost to grand PAPA Nate. This is the best fight to redeem himself and he knows a win could possilbly earn him a ticket to fight pac..

If Diaz did not lose to Papa NATE than I'm all GO for Diaz.. but since Baby Bull Diaz LOST to grand PAPA Nate. I lost faith on him.

For me Baby Bull is nothing but Hype! He is EQUALLY hungry but NOT enough talent to win over JMM..

Diaz has something to lose if he didn't win the fight...more like a shot for another belt.

Marquez has more to lose if he didn't get the nod...a shot at pac, a belt, a redemption, a big pay day and most of all...winning makes it even to both of them... means another payday.

JMM by UD or by cuts

Diaz doesnt have the power to hurt JMM and JMM isnt foolish enough to cover up and let J.Diaz dictate the fight like Freitas and Julio Diaz.

Good eye Patsy's......I like it when you add real insight like that.

Because JMM is viewed as a counterpunching boxer, alot of people stereotype him and dont take notice that he puts real leverage and snap to his shots whether it be while going foward, or in counterpunch mode.

I've read alot of posts since this fights been announced that Diaz' workrate will wear on JMM.......
......I say what workrate when Diaz is going to be respectful after repeatedly getting countered with sharp, accurate, and precise hard shots.

Diaz looks to be tough, but I think JMM's accuracy is going to find the target too many times for Diaz to last the 12!

Like a lot of people I think Jmm will prevail in a very tough fight by UD, but I wouldn't be surprised if Diaz pulls it off.

I'm looking forward to this one so much as both are amongst my favourite fighters.

although i like juan diaz, i could really see nothing he could do to beat jmm for 2 simple reasons. he is not half the tactician jmm is and 2 he does not have enough power to hurt jmm.

jmm likes fighters like diaz and pacquiao who are always on the attack. this gives him more opportunities to counter

i think diaz's chin will hold up against jmm so i'm taking jmm by a wide ud. diaz would miss a lot and get clobbered with counters all day

    Wow, I'm suprised!
When the thread is'nt about Pac, you can actually add insight to a post!;)

    Agreed!

Diaz is just not going to be able to throw caution to the wind with his combination punching coming out of a clinch as he's accustomed to do.....
....because JMM is going to have the radar on him to time and land a hurtful blow in the midst of Diaz throwing one of his patented, ugh ugh ugh
ugh ugh......if you all seen Diaz fight, you know what I mean!:D
