Do you think that JMM will have Diaz on the defensive and afraid to let his hands go?

I get the feeling that Diaz is going to at some point in the fight when he finds himself well behind, go for broke, and that will be JMM's opportunity to put the finishing touches on the affair.

    .....of course, just a feeling!

pretty tought question there. i think he'd be his usual self early and throw a lot of punches up until the middle rounds. then he could start getting frustrated because he will not be able to tag jmm without eating serious leather in the process.

i don't know how stong diaz is mentally as i've never seen him in the ring against a tactician that could frustrate him like jmm would. jmm could stop him if diaz loses his focus. diaz needs to have and implement an absolutely perfect gamplan to beat jmm, but jmm just needs to be his usual self to beat diaz.

i think that the odds will be much closer than what they should be.

I dont think diaz could hurt JMM but i also think Diaz could upset JMM.

    JMM by UD

Should be a really fun fight to watch... Looking forward to this one... I favor JMM by UD or late TKO... most likely UD.

Depends on how Marquez stands up to the pressure, and how Diaz deals with precision , powerful counterpunching. JMM won't fight The Baby Bull like Campbell did, thats not his style. If JMM backs up, I think Diaz will swarm all over him.
But Diaz's lack of power may cost him in this one . Thats what hurt him against Campbell. Nate went punch for punch with Diaz , and down the stretch Diaz was feeling it a lot more than Campbell was. My guess is Marquez wins, because he has all around better tools and has fought better fighters.

JMM close, but clear UD, or perhaps a late stoppage.

Must likely a UD, with Diaz having his moments both early and late but JMM controlling pretty mostly.

This is a tough one to call. Marquez is a great counter puncher and Diaz throws a lot of punches...but he damn for sure aint easy to counter with that jab of his. We all know Diaz is tough as nails and Marquez has shown power at 135. I cant call it. I cant really get a good grasp on what this fight would look like.

This should be a great fight!!

I think JMM though will be able to land counter after counter on Juan Diaz as he swarms in. However the fight will be competitive and I think JMM will walk away with a UD. Diaz just doesn't have the power to trouble him.

diaz, a former light-welter, may have a chance being the naturally bigger fighter. he also has high activity (volume puncher) as well as being a come forward, bulling type of pressure fighter. marquez certainly has more skills but if baby bull can get to the inside, he can out-muscle jmm and deliver his short crisp combos.

the fight will be competitive but i think jmm wins this via UD being simply the better boxer.

I got JMM on this one, diaz in my opinion is overrated.

Is this on HBO ppv? I hope not.
