I doubt TITAN genuinely believes in Joe Calzaghe's skills as a boxer, well done on winding up to the point whereby he gets himself banned.
Before the fight i was routing for Calzaghe and i couldn't see Hopkins wining a single round. After the fight i stated Hopkins won. Calzaghes worst fight ever - moving air all night. Hopkins with the precise and clean punches. Calzaghe out of order, showboating and being disgraceful. Before the last round, Enzo said to Calzaghe: " You has to KO him to win". Exactly how i saw it, and as i claimed after worths "Hopkins won this fight - time will tell".
So, lets break this down. English_Titan 1.) Doesn't know anything about boxing, yet despite this 2.) is constantly posting slightly homoerotic nonsense about Calzaghe 3.) is a racist and/or ignorant and stupid 4.) is vain, despite the fact the he 4.) has a big nose, a heroin addict complexion, man boobs and generally looks like an slightly obese version of Martin Fowler from Eastenders with a receeding hairline. Did I leave anything out?
Yes - and just because he feared losing. I fear this thread poll is more the result of who is the most popular fighter. Exactly when peoples voted on the result of the Valuev - Holyfield fight. So many saw the side to side steeping not throwing any punches old challenger a way from home as the winner????
But the side-side not throwing punches older HOME fighter you gave the decision in Cal/Hopatsch As for the showboating in the Hop fight, When?. Only time i saw anything remotely close to showboating was when Hop was taking his breather and Calzaghe aknowledged the British fans. Thats not showboating.
I watched the match several times and I think Hopkins won 114-113. He scored a KD and landed the cleaner shots in addition to having better ring generalship. It was a very close fight, Calzahge was more active but he rarely landed anything clean. I was actually very surprised when the German commentators ( I watched the fight in Germany) said it was a clear victory for Calzahge. No way!
I am pretty sure that you posted after the fight giving props to Calzaghe and scored the fight for Calzaghe.
No, but it was a very close decision and one that I had no problem with, for it certainly could have gone either way in my eyes. This was the fight that sold me on Calzaghe, and I was amazed by how well he performed, particularly down the stretch. What upset me most after the fight were Hopkins fans who claimed robbery or tried claiming Hopkins god old over night. To those people, I said that Calzaghe won fair and square--which was to say that their was no fix and no robbery. Hopkins lost a close fight that could have gone either way. I personally had him up on my scorecard, but that's meaningless in the discourse you're referring to (unlike this thread).
