Fighters you learned to like because of all the hate on ESB

    I like how calzaghe fights' and have always been a fan of his. I've always and to this day can't stand FRANK WARREN.

    As for fighters I've learned to like because of the hate, I can't think of any. There's some that I have learned to like but it's more about personality and how they fight. I will say that one guy I became a fan of this year was ricardo mayorga. It was sad to see him get KOed at the very end of the fight to me. It was the only fight that he was showing sportsmanship that I have ever seen and he was completely humble coming into the fight and after the fight.

    I still think PBF is a total jerk outside the ring, but the venomous hate from some of the posters on this board has made me defend him many times as a fighter.

    Similarly, the hate directed towards Jermaine Taylor made me appreciate him, especially now looking back at his performances against Hopkins. (which even if you think Taylor lost, you have to give him props for waging two extremely close battles against an ATG like Hopkins)

    I'm the same way with Floyd and Slappy Joe both. I can't stand either, but sometimes posters say things that is so incedibly stupid I feel obligated to defend them.

    Some of the hating on this site is baseless, and full of double talk, and filled with bias.

    EX-A Margo fan will say they Hate Floyd because he fights for money, then make excuse after excuse for Margo turning down fights for more money.

    Or A kessler fan bashing someone IE Dawson for having a close fight with Johnson while Kessler is fighting bums.

    I have found myself defending fighters one this site that I dont really like...Because moronic fans make stupid claims like Haye will beat Vitali easy and clean out the weight, when he could barely hold up vs Barrett.
