At the UFC 92 post fight press conference Dana said this will be the main event for 95. First they tease a potenital Anderson Silva fight then they give us this. It's a good fight but not main event worthy. Gouveia vs. Marquardt is also expected to be on this card. Will push the winner closer to a title shot. I don't know how many tickets they have sold so far but with a main event like that and no Bisping they are going to struggle to even come close to selling out.

I'm pretty sure I read it will be on Spike. Still doesn't make it better (well for us Brits anyway) as how do they expect to pack out a 20,000 capacity venue with a shitty main event. I know the Bisping vs Leben main event from the last UK card got criticised but at least you could kinda understand the reasoning for it with Bisping being a Brit. But this main event makes no sense at all.

As always Dana keeps his word. Some quotes he made last month.

“Including UFC 38 in 2002, and UFC 75 and 85 more recently, this is our fourth show in London and we’re working very hard to make this the best fight card of them all,” promised the president.

“Our UK fans know we will be bringing an awesome card because that’s what we do with each and every show."

If the cut doesn't kill Diego, he should destroy Stevenson. Then I'd love to see him face the winner of Florian vs Penn.

This is a joke, I mean its a nice little fight, its interesting, but its not a part of the immediate title picture, its not a title fight, its just a decently interesting fight. It should not be the main event.

I'm sure they could have Silva defending his title on this card. He's keen to get back in the cage after his last performance. They're taking the **** if they think they can get away with a main event like that.

Decent fight but no main event that's for sure, it better be free or the rest of the card better be stacked. At this point Dana should know better.

It might be in their contracts that they get to headline a show, who knows.
