Does he surpass DLH and Tito in terms of accomplishment?

    not for me.

i think tito, oscar and shane can be 'bunched' as exciting, talented fighters who promoted boxing very, very well but were never great fighters.

IMO Mosley is better fighter than both. Its just that after moving up from lightweight he challenged himself so much. If he can beat Margarito, then i say YES. I know most people will say no though.

BTW people need to take longevity into consideration too.

Who the ****s moves up in weight and fights Winky Wright twice? only a man with balls of steel. Mosley is ATG in my book.

And yes he lost those fights but they were close as ****.

No, I don't think so. Tito and Oscar both have better resumes than Mosley, IMO. I wouldn't be surprised if he beats Margarito though, because Margo can be quite a simple fighter for his opponent to figure out and exploit.

Agreed, but he didn't look very good against Mayorga who has seen better days. a couple of years ago he beats Margo, but I don't see him winning now.

I think Mosley - Tito - DLH are all in the same tier as far as All Time Greats go.

Mosley ranks the highest in my book because of personal preference I'd say.

If he beats Margarito, he should surpass Tito and DLH in most rankings.

Felix Trinidad: Wins a past his best Pernell Whitaker, a contervsial win over Oscar De La Hoya, a 14-0 David Reid or a 20-0 Fernando Vargas, perhaps William Joppy.
Losses Bernard Hopkins, Ronald Wright, and Roy Jones Jr.
Best win Fernando Vargas or William Joppy.

Oscar De La Hoya: Wins John John Molina, Rafael Ruelas, Genaro Hernandez (1995 was a good year for DLH). A past his best Julio Cesar Chavez (1996) and a past his best Pernell Whitaker and a contervistial decision. Miguel Angel Gonzalez, Ike Quartey (a gift?), and Fernando Vargas.
Losses. Felix Trinidad (see above), Shane Mosley (X2 although the second losss could have gone his way.) Bernard Hopkins, Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao.
Best win. If he had won more convincely against Whitaker that would be the easy choice but all things consered I would have to say Genaro Hernandez or Fernando Vargas.

Shane Mosley: Wins. Philip Holiday,Jesse James Leija Oscar De La Hoya twice, Luis Collazo.
Losses. Vernon Forrest twice, Ronald Wright twice and Miguel Angel Cotto.
Best win Oscar De La Hoya first fight.

In terms of resume depth Mosley comes up short in terms of best win the 2009 version of Mosley beating the 2009 version of Margrito trumps the best wins of Oscar De La Hoya and Felix Trinidad.
