Never once did Goosen say that Dzinziruk turned down a fight. Williams' trainer is the one who said it.

It makes a huge difference. I don't know how you can claim Goosen is bullshitting on the strength of a statement he never made.

Peterson was the one who said it. Peterson does claim that Goosen told him that Dzinziruk turned down the fight. However, there are no quotes from Goosen regarding the issue. Who knows if Peterson missinterpreted Goosen, or straight up lied.

What is with you and Goosen? Do you work for him? Is he a friend of yours? All I know is that you need to get his nuts out of your mouth.

Why even aim for an interim title if you have no intention of going for the full belt against the champ?

Winky is a bigger fight so Williams cant be accused of ducking...yet.

Winky is a formidable opponent and a bigger name on Williams resume than Dzinzinruk is at this time. I would love to see both fights at the right time. :good

You can't blame him. As a fighter he probably feels he could beat Paul but logically I'm sure he knows the odds. He's trying to get his name out there....nothing wrong with that. He should be careful what he wishes for.

paul needs some names tho... its starting to seem to me that he's talking himself into a hole that he might not be able to crawl out of ...

he's my favorite fighter and has been for a cpl years. and i think he can beat anybody from welter to middle

but the way people are acting it seems like they wont be satisfied until he fights arthur abraham...

and the excuses will be out in full effect if he beats anyone else

    beats cotto - too small
beats margarito - proved what he could already do
    beats winky - was washedup
beats clottey - clottey was over rated all along
beats berto - berto was to small
beats cintron - cintron sucked all along
beats vernon - was too old
beats pavlik - was over rated to begin with
beats dzinzurik - was an euro hype job

atleast i hope its not this way

Yo....don't worry about Paul. Dan won't let this kind of talent go to waste. As long as Paul is kept busy he will be in the picture from 147 to 160. He needs a big name but a lot of guys are not willing to face him. Dzinzurik is a good fight...Paul should win easily but it is a solid fight to keep him busy and to grab a belt. I wouldn't say he's a hype job b/c he's not really getting a lot of press. But he's definitly a top 10 154 lbs fighter.

I find it hard for anyone to beat Paul....he's got great physicall attributes that allows him to be an physically imposing force at 147....combined with his stamina, work rate and UNDERRATED Skills I don't see him being beat.

At 154 I think this is a GREAT weight class for him! He can truly DOMINATE! At 147 I think he looses some speed and power...possibly a little steam or stamina from trying to make that weight. Although I stil think he's the man to beat. Marg had a great figth with him although Pau won, Marg made it a tough fight for Paul...probably his harderst aside from the Quintana fight where Paul just looked sluggish and definitley not himself.

At 160....guys are on his physical level....His talent and skills will see him through most Middle wieghts but I do see him "MORE BEATABLE" at this weight than any other weight class. Kelly could KO Paul IMO...but Paul could Out box Kelly. So it's really a tough call, but I'd feel more comfortable betting on Kelly to win if Paul were to get this fight.

Still....Paul is a ****ing freak...able to fight from 147 to 160 and still preform. There's something in that kids DNA that just ain't right...but in a good way. Marg's got that something in his DNA that allows him to take a **** load of punishment which amazed me in the Cotto fight.

Talked to Sergiy last week and he said it weren't his own words, but ones from some Universum dirty mouth. He's one of the most humble fighters I ever met, so it sure wasn't clever decision by some German dumbass to put those pathetic words into his mouth.

Sergiy needs to quit hiding out in Germay if he wants to line up a big fight with Williams. It really is that simple. Sergiy may be good, but nobody knows who the **** he is. For him to say that Williams is ducking is just a nonsensical comment.

Its kinda funny how some of these Euro fighters who are champions are calling out contenders.

Just like Froch ... you guys are champions ... either call out other champions or work on racking up title defenses.
