You have got to admire the mans confidence. Im a big Toney fan and i truly believe he could win a title in 2009, i dont agree with him about the undisputed bit though. I think in Vegas, Toney could get a ud/sd against Wlad or Valuev, i dont like him against Vitali or Chageav though. What do you guys think of Toney's plans for HW glory in 2009?

He could beat Valuev I am pretty sure. Would not favor him against the others.

Toney is past it now I hate to say. He won't be champion let alone undisputed. He had a good chance and he's one of my favourite fighters, but he looked poor against Batchelder and Oquendo. He's on that slippery slope and it won't get any better from here. I hope he calls it a day in 2009 and we remember him for what he was, one of the modern greats.

He aint gonna get a chance because he cant get past the gate keepers like Rahman and Oquendo, they are just too good for him. He needs to face some straight out bums but then again he gotta be careful not to pick someone like Batchelder or he will need another SD gift.

Toney is one of my all time favorites i hope he wins a belt and retires before he hurts himself further...His speech has diminished drastically over the years

I wouldbe surprised if he even gets a shot at one belt, let alone all of them. I would back him to beat Valuev though.

He would beat Valuev comfortably, the problem is he has to get through someone like Batchelder or Oquendo to get to Valuev and it may be too difficult of a task at this point.

To be fair to Toney, he did make Rahman quit.

I can't see him beating Valuev if I'm being honest.

NO!! I like Jim Toney as well, but he is too short and fat at 230 pounds to be effective against Nick Valustiff..... The Russian can beat Toney on the height, reach and jab altogether..... Toney does not have great lateral movement.... Toney only can take small steps left or right at times; nothing fancy....:yep
