Oh come on..be honest at least. We all know why Hatton did go back...Maybe you should watch the Collazo fight again?

His WW title is not so significant. He left it undefended. It's like the king or queen abdicating the British throne. Because if he is welter champ, he would have remained a welter until today. Thus his 0 loss would have come sooner than his loss to Mayweather. I know why he abandoned the WW title. He wanted to preseve his 0 Loss by reverting to his comfort zone - LWW. Yes, that 0 loss was worth hyping until he met Mr. Ringpost.

I have watched it a few times, and it was a poor performance from Hatton. His preparation was slack and he nearly came unstuck.

I scored it 114-112 to Hatton....

    You card please?

The records speak for themselves. They don't lie.

Seriously man. You posted this Pac v Hatton stuff elsewhere and I'm happy to debate the outcome of the fight with you. You're never gonna say Hatton on this one and I'm never gonna say Pac. One of us will be wrong.

However, at the moment, you really look like someone who hasnt got a clue! Hatton vacated as he would have had to fight Urkal. Why would Hatton take Urkal on? He was chasing Castillo so went back down. Then returned to welter to fight Floyd. It would have been far more respectable for you to say 'I didnt realise Hatton was a two weight champ, I'll give you that'. Instead, by backtracking and relying on a weaker argument you look like a bit of a nonce. Your initial posts seemed to make sense, if a little Pac weighted (but I dont mind that). As the thread goes on you seem to make less and less sense.

    You may call it 'retrogression'

    :hi:

he said "will pale" and it clearly will.....seeing as Cotto's resume is just about as good as Hattons resume and Cotto's at a much earlier stage of his career while, Hatton's ready to end his.......+ it doesn't hurt that Cotto's just the better of the 2

What fails to amuse me on here is, why is it that Hatton's record is seen as padded, is it because he did not fight on a major TV station like HBO until now ? Everybodies fight record could be classed as padded but since Americans seem to think that if your not fighting american fighters your not worthy then thats probably why people would say that about a non American fighter. I think people need to get real and look at what fighters are doing once they get to the top rather than worring about a padded record because in my opinion some people could say alot of fighters records are severly padded, how do you judge a padded record because one man might have fought all those guys in his record and another man with a supposedly better record could have lost to those guys on that other guys padded record so how do you gage it unless the other man fought the fighters that another fighter has fought lol

THIS IS WHAT I MEANT TO SAY I WORDED IT WRONGLY UP TOP

I know you're losing this debate by resorting to infantile inanities. Stick to issues, dude.

Back to topic. Why did Hatton go back to light welter if he was already the welter champ that you're bragging about?

The thing is Hatton won't just stand there like a punch bag and allow Pac to fight his fight.

Because he's a natural 140lb fighter and there wasnt a big enough fight at 147 at the time to warrant staying in the division.

Or would you prefer he 'padded his record' against Urkal?

    Or remained inactive?
