I'm not even considering that as most likely he ain't even gonna fight Pavlik. He could do it by fighting guys like Forrest,Martinez,Dzinziruk,Margarito,Clottey,Cotto, maybe a MW like Ghevor or Sturm.
For me it'll be Gamboa. I'm a JuanMa fan but I think he'll get over-matched too soon and whilst it will be entertaining I think he'll be biting off more than he can chew. Whereas Gamboa, in my opinion, could handle the current champions at featherweight. That may sound a bit cocky but it's what I think. Gamboa could rule for a while too.
The very next P4P king can be Hatton if he beats the current one decisively in May, or Juan Manuel Marquez vs. the winner of that fight. Future P4P kings? On talent level, Gamboa is pretty much above all youngsters, however at this point Juan Manuel Lopez fights more mature and disciplined, and has 2 P4P-ers in his division, so his chances at this very moment are better. Kessler or Dawson can have a strong argument if they clean out their divisions, beat Hopkins and fight each other. Based on overall skill level, Demetrius Andrade, Gennady Golovkin and Danny Jacobs are great talents, but as always, P4P status is 90% based on resume, so I like Lopez' chances the best in a 5-year period. Ortiz might steal the show running through Hatton, Pacquiao, Margarito and Cotto, but I'm not completely sold on the Ortiz hype (if it's about his P4P caliber).
That actually will be good for him, he will come back to cruiser and even dig heavily into the LHW ... it is easier way to become p4p king.
Do you really think in an year he will go from what?top 20,top 30 to NUMBER 1?!!!????atsch You are clearly a blind delusional nuthuffer if you think beating guys like Haussler,Sartison and Perdomo do that.
