If you rank British MW's/SMW's other than Calzaghe...... Benn Eubank (These could be switched) Graham - would be top but for the obvious Watson - short career hurt, unfortunately Collins Reid - lost to some puddings Woodhall - padded record, good fighter, probably a better amateur than pro All these guys are excellent fighters, however.
Eubank over Benn for me, he stopped Nigel and faired better against Collins than the Dark Destroyer but it's down to opinion as they are almost impossible to rank, especially if you think Benn won their second fight Isn't Collins from the Republic??? Also Glen Catley won the WBC but he never gets mentioned anymore
Yet another devastatingly hilarious riposte from the cutting edge of comedy, Mr Plow. The posts-per-minute ratio of the forum plummets towards zero as all members cannot even type nor think for uncontrollable laughter... :rofl
Here he is!!! Mr Intelligent Welcome back!!! By the way that reply of yours was so faux intelligent and wildly unfunny it makes me realise I am talking to someone who tries oh so hard to impress on here everytime they type Eastside boxing appears to have consumed your life
That must be the correct ranking then cos you've said it, no point anybody else challenging this list so everyone just go to bed!!!
Yawn. I know that you think trolling around after me so that you are continually noticed arguing with me will bring you some notoriety on this board, some credibility by association, but many others think the same Mr Plow, and I refuse to be used by you to make people notice you, which must really be the sole purpose of popping up on a thread with some lame insult about me that has absolutely nothing to do with the thread-subject or the discussion at hand. You are a nobody, go chase someone else for a cheap catfight, it's beneath me. :hi:
You calling someone a nobody is laughable Think about it........ All your desperate P4P threads and so called knowledge is all a nonsense It's almost funny how you don't see yourself as anything other than sad and obsessed The fact you seek credibility on an internet forum speaks volumes for you and your need for attention, and your better than everyone else personality is sickening Nobody likes a know-all
I wouldn't have said Woodhall was much lower than Reid to be honest. Though he did retire a bit early.
Catley lost a contentious MD to Woodhall and also beat Lucas and Beyer as well as holding the WBC belt You can group him in with Reid and Woodhall easily
Yawn. I literally could not be any less interested in a psychological analysis courtesy of a fringe player on the General Forum who pops up midway through boxing threads to lob insults around. You bore me. Go watch some Kevin Kelley on youtube and observe that "MASSIVE puncher" in action. :hi:
I really don't rate Richie Woodhall at all to be honest. He's only rated by people because they see the little grey turd on Setanta and think he must've been good to be a pundit now. H2H Robin Reid was a clearly superior fighter IMO.
A grey turd who won Olympic Bronze only losing to RJJ and former SMW champion of the world who beat a guy that has wins over both nigel benn and robin reid how can a cretin like you disregard his acheivments??
fringe player?? you tube?? you talk some twaddle, you clearly spend too long on the internet trying to swat up in desperation for approval not everyone is so needy to look good or have credibility in a forum this isnt a competition or my entire life thanks all the same your actual knowledge of the SMW division is clearly clouded and all your so called knowledge stems from hours on youtube and endless google searches still......so long as your arent a fringe player eh?? haha what a sad, sad guy so answer me anyway yappy, what makes a cretin like you think that they can call someone like woodhall a grey turd???
Amateur accomplishments mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to me when rating a professional boxer. It's like me talking about how Diego Maradona won trophies with his high school football team or how Roger Federer won a juniors title when he was 15 - amateur boxing is so far removed from professional boxing it may as well be another sport IMO (Fraudley Harrison?? ****ing Jorge Luis Gonzalez beat Riddick Bowe in the amateurs, did you see their fight in the pros? Back to YOUTUBE for you, again!), I would never cite it in a discussion. A cretin like me does not disregard his achievements, I simply do not rate them very highly, I rate them roughly on a par with those of Reid, and I think Reid was a significantly better fighter h2h. Woodhall's best wins are Branco, Malinga (about 43 at the time), Catley and Nardiello. That is not a good win resume in my eyes. He was beaten by the 3 best fighters he fought, and stopped by two of them. He won a world title by beating a man in his mid-40s, lost it 18 months later. Sorry if it hurts your feelings, but I just don't think much of him as a fighter.
