This is simply not true. Roy looked back to his best against Trinidad, a great fighter in his own right. He outclassed him and carried him for 12.

I can't see Jones coming back from the mental disintegration he suffered at the hands of Calzaghe. His aura was shattered.

you must have not seen a peak roy jones.

if that trinidad was in the ring with a prime roy jones he would have not lasted 4 rounds.

the roy jones against trinidad leaned against the ropes and waited for trinidad to tire, he won't doing nothing, trinidad was coming back to boxing after 2 years and fighting at a weight class that he had never previously fought at.

No. Simply no. Not only was Trinidad fighting at a weight he had never fought before but he was also coming off a 2 year layoff. Roy looked nothing like the Roy of old. He was hanging around on the ropes, couldnt move his feet, lacked speedy combinations electing to throw one shot at a time. Put against any live body in the light heavyweight division and he would lose.

I really hope the Calzaghe rematch happens, just because he got beat the first time doesent mean it cant be completely diffrent in the rematch. With that said I dont want to see him go to HW yet. I thought he was calling for G.Johnson, I really wanted to see him go after him. I would also much rather see rematchs with Hopkins & Tarver or a fight with Dawson, then anything at HW. Froch or Taylor would also be good fights for RJ.

damn, if roy was in need of money, can't he become a trainer or assistant trainer? i mean, no amount of money is gonna replace his health in the future and then he's gonna be broke paying his medical bills and being brain damaged. damn roy needs to learn from irene pacheco something and know there is a life after boxing

    Why? I mean I know why....(HW Division is ****!)
It's defo a 100% "Resume" building type of decision based only...
(Imagine Roy claiming a second HW championship)

2bad true boxing fan's understand that his first belt was kinda tainted...(Ruiz)
and if he moves up to HW and fight's anyone else rather that a Klit his attempt don't mean ****. just retire Roy, there is no longer any future in it. (Nothing to prove)
Get out before you get blasted out.....AGAIN.

Better yet, move up, **** it....lol

This is all false. He had been shot since 04. His aura had all ready been shattered four years before his fight with Joe. It was against a fighter by the name of Antonio Tarver in case you've never heard of him.
