Rewatching the Calzaghe Jones fight, I've gained a bit more respect for Joe

    Ha dont make me laugh mate!
    Im not saying Calzaghe would have definately beaten Jones 5 years ago, but I guarantee he would have been jones's toughest fight. Nobody and i mean nobody past or present would get calzaghe out of anywhere quick. The guys chin is rock solid and he has a champions heart, i dont care what you say no one knocks calzaghe out, unless he suddenly decides to move up to heaveyweight!

    You dont have an iron chin and get KD by Jones' wrist. He was truly hurt in that round and if this was 5+ years ago he wouldnt of made it out of there with a prime Roy.

    Yeah he carried Roy for the final few rounds. He could have turned it up and stopped him.

    I disagree completely. I think Joe dancing the cha-cha and trying to clown on Roy was totally to embarrass him, and that stuff is more embarrassing for a fighter than getting knocked on his ass. He could have kept boxing without trying to hurt Roy if he really wished to "carry" him as you put it, but he decided to dance around like a ****** and try to clown on Roy. which is fair game in this sport, mind you, but to try and say he wasn't purposely humiliating his opponent is a big stretch.

    Getting knocked down doesnt mean youve got no chin, anyone can get knocked down when they are off balance by a flash punch. The way he got up straight away and came back fighting showed how good his chin is as he did in the hopkins fight aswell! As he's done whenever anyone has knocked him down!

    LMFAO-Are you serious? There 2 athletes in a competitive sport. Joe couldn't KO Roy. He didn't "carry" him. He whooped his ass and took an easy UD. Props to your boy Joe. But I doubt he "carried" him. There fighters man-there not there to be nice to each other. They are there to compete and entertain...

    After watching this fight for the second time i realised Joe was fighting RJJ style of embarassing his opponents with counter punches. I have never seen anyone embrass RJJ with his own boxing style. it was exceptional.
