Do you have a reading comprehension problem? When did I say that Liston wouldn't or couldn't beat Haye?

Yeah, because nobody ever lifted weights back then. Also, you do realize that steroid abuse was going around, and untested like a wildfire then, don't you?

Still... if your suggesting that Liston would be bulked up nowadays, and be around 6' 230 or so... then as I said.... his already slow hands and feet become even slower hands and feet. I don't see how that suits him. Also, we have no idea what carrying extra weight would do to his stamina, ect..

There is absolutely no point in talking about cross era matchups to begin with. It becomes especially ******ed when people start changing the size of the fighters in question. It's honestly pathetic. Sonny Liston was who he was... and if you change who he was, then you aren't talking about Sonny Liston anymore.

So it's settled then. You definitely have a reading comprehension problem.

The only time Liston ever mentioned he was "scared" was when he was Champion and the Kray Twins took him on a "ride" somewhere in London.

Reginald "Reggie" Kray (24 October 1933 – 1 October 2000) and Ronald "Ronnie" Kray (24 October 1933 – 17 March 1995) were identical twin brothers, and the foremost organised crime leaders dominating London's East End during the 1950s and 1960s

Yeah... ok. Keep telling yourself that. As long as it helps you reach orgasm as you jerk off to pictures of Liston and his lame "scowl".

Sonny Liston had 26 fights with 200+ opponents (= modern heavies).

ALL of them were either bums (= lost 25% or more of their fights in their career) or former cruisers (boxed at 180+ or below), the only exception being Zech KO7 (who was also his tallest opponent at 6'5'').

The heaviest he has ever faced was Wepner (228 lbs, KO10).

His KO ratio against good opponents is 57%. (Ali:52%, Tyson:59%, Foreman: 62%, Lennox: 62%, Louis: 67%, Wlad: 79%). Mind you, this includes below-200-lbs fights.

His best wins were 2x cruiserweight wins against Patterson (approx 190 lbs) and 2x heavyweight wins against Cleveland Williams (approx 212 lbs).

He has scored 2 KOs in world title fights (as opposed to, letsay, Lennox or Klitschko with 10 KOs).

His record against somewhat good opponents at 200+ is
    4-2
    4 wins (4 KOs) and 2 losses (2 KOs).

In his last fights he was approx. 220 lbs. That would make him one of Wlad's LIGHTEST opponents.

He is 6'0.5''. That would make him one of Klitschko's SMALLEST opponents.

Klitschko would be his TALLEST, HEAVIEST and REACHIEST opponent.

Yes, he would rule the heavyweight division now and he would walk through Wladimir Klitschko like a hot knife through butter.
