Jackson and it's not close. Jackson is arguably the ATG P4P hardest puncher in history. Margo has a good chin but has never been tested by true one shot KO power something that guys like Cintron or Cotto simply don't have. At 154 Margo losses some of the advantages he enjoys at 147 mainly size and strenght. He would be nothing more than a walking target for Jackson who gets him outta there in 5 rounds or less. Jackson by brutal KO is my pick here.

Take away Margarito's size advantage and thus his ability to bully opponents and control tempo, and all of a sudden he isnt so great.

    Jackson via crushing.

Why shouldn't Jackson be favored? He's the more skilled fighter and bigger puncher as well? Give me a reason why you favor Margo in this matchup?

Why is reading such a problem for you? No where did he state Margarito would win. As a matter of fact he said Jackson WOULD WIN.:patsch

I took it as he was saying like others so often do that the older fighters always win these matchups. What's the problem?

Problem is your reading ability. Stop assuming what you think others really mean, since you have no clue.

For all of Julian's massive punching power, He had a suspect chin.
(This coming from a HUGE JJ fan)
If Margarito could survive the onslaught of the first round's, I would have given him
or any fighter with Good/average power a good chance if the fight goes deep.

That said... Jackson was a banger, But not unbeatable.
