Would Hatton have beaten Oscar quicker than Pac

possibly but pac is pac and hatton is hatton. hatton did not even took the fight when it was offered to him before pacman and just prefered malignaggi.

 

I don't think Hatton would have done nearly as much damage as Pac. He punches with less authority and isn't as good with upper body movement. Hatton takes a UD.

 

nah.. oscar lost because he was getting hit with everything without him catching pac most of the time. He couldn't impose his size but with ricky i think he can. Oscar lost to speed but with hatton it would totally be a different fight.

No, absolutely not - Oscar has problems with southpaws.

 

No. Pac's 'in and out' aggression allowed him to jump in and land hard coumbos FAST then get out of way of return fire. Hatton's hand speed is nothing like Pac's nor is his movement. Also DLH's left hook would land way too frequently for Hatton's likings.

 

I don't know about beating Dlh quicker than PAc, but Hatton would've beaten Dlh that night. Dlh had a better chance of landing on Hatton, but he was too weak to do any damage. Hatton could've tired Dlh out early with his holding and hitting, but I see Hatton busting Dlh up with the left hook, and stopping him around the same time. Pac nor Hatton beat Dlh in his prime. It's disgusting to talk about scenarios like this lol...

 

No, because Hatton would have been worried and held more early on, like he does in most of his fights these days. By the time he figured out De La Hoya was no threat, it would be a few rounds in.

Oscar was far from great but Pac was everything he didn't need. Credit where credit is due...

 

Anyone could have gotten famous for fighting Oscar that night at that weight. Forbes would have beaten him at that weight, **** I could have trained my son to beat him that night. Oscar was a shell of himself by trying to fight at a weight class he did not belong. Again, props to Pac for a great performance.
