    I agree totally. A footballer gets knighted for his services to.......er..... getting paid 100 grand a week.
    Yet somebody who saves lives gets a lesser award - if that.

    Good to see Chris Hoy knighted for riding a bike round a track. Still no knighthood for Lennox despite him being only the 3rd HW to become world HW champion 3 times. I guess it is a populist move from the government in light of Hoy winning the bbc sports personality award.

    apart from having a fancy title of "Sir" at the start of your name

    It is very difficult to argue against a Knighthood for Lennox Lewis as he achieved something unique. Great career even the Americans came to respect which they did not always about British and European heavyweights.
