A closer fight but it got clearly in the sixth that Cotto is struggling and BADLY, in the end he was set to lose. Just like Hatton had his moments in that fight it became clear that he's set to lose, like Cotto.

Also, where does it say that Mayweather is going to have an immediate rematch with Hatton?, as far as I remember he wants Pacquiao and since Pac wants to fight Hatton first then he will take on the winner of that fight whoever it may be. Margarito is set to fight a shot to death Mosley and Cotto right after it, the reason why there's no immediate rematch is because Cotto needs a tune-up first, otherwise I assure you it would be Cotto II next.

Yeah there is double standards, when you say it's pathetic for Mayweather to think about giving Hatton a rematch yet don't point out that Margarito, who officially announced the rematch is ON, is doing the same.

So you're hinting that Margarito is ready to pull out of his already scheduled/planned/dated next two fights to accept a challenge from Mayweather if one comes?, are you Margarito's manager?

I'll tell you this, I can fully understand why Mayweather has zero interest in guys with half a dozen losses with ZERO avenged nor attempted to avenge.

If Margarito wants to be taken seriously he should avenge some of his losses, otherwise just hope for Arum to keep feeding him guys in his stable.

Yeah because Margarito didn't exactly get bigger by losing to Paul Williams.

I think so, the date is already set and this is planned, you think Arum would just allow it?, this is a business don't take media hype and bull**** too seriously.

He never attempted to avenge the Santos loss, first fight was a NC, it wasn't a loss for Margarito. Did he have any attempts after the rematch which was a loss?

No one said he has to go to Santos' hometown again?, right after his win over Cotto BOTH guys that beat him, Santos and Williams were the ones that called him out. Don't forget that Williams also offered him a career high payday and DOUBLE the amount he's getting against Mosley and everyone knows he's not even worth that price. What's confusing me is the most feared beast in sports not running after the guys that beat him, it's the other way around. Care to explain why?

Also, please don't mention the weight issue vs Santos, only recently Margarito claimed he's ready to move to 154 for DLH, but for a guy that beat him it's worthless for the beast who seeks pride over money, huh?

Yeah, all retired legends are quitters then. Ali, Robinson, Marciano, Leonard, Hagler, Hearns and all the rest are a group of sissy quitters!

Only gladiator around is Margarito, a man with half a dozen losses with zero attempts to avenge.
