Wladimir Klitschko, his most impressive performance?

Vitali had the advantage of being watching what Sanders likes to do vs Wlad. Wlad came into the fight on short notice, and completely unprepared for Sanders. You can NEVER do that against a dangerous fighter like Sanders. Had Wlad reviewed tapes, studied his opponent and prepared for him... he never would have fell into the simple traps that Sanders sets for his opponents. All of that was kicked off by that lunging left hand off of the ropes when Wlad got lazy backing up. If you notice, Wlad didn't even stumble like Vitali did when he was hit with the first huge left from Sanders. It actually took SEVERAL big shots from Sanders.

 

So, either your hero Sam Peter never hurt him... Or Wlad doesn't fall apart at the "seams" when hurt. Which is it? I bet you have a spin for this one...

 

We have been over this countless times, Wlad got threw the fight by clinching anytime Peter landed anything big or tried to get inside on Wlad. I believe it was the 10th round where Peter seriously hurt Wlad, and made him drop to a knee, unfortunately there was not enough time in the round to finish Wladimir off. I have said it many times, this fight was Wlad's toughest challenge of his career, and the one fight I actually give Wlad a ton of credit for taking it, which earned him his championship fight in April of 06 against Chris Bryd.

 

So... then Wlad doesn't fall apart now when hurt? Or are you saying that Peter never had him hurt? You aren't making sense. It can't be both.

 

Peter had him pretty hurt in the 10th, but with the limmited amount of time left in the round, he was unable to follow up and land anything significant enough to finish Wlad off. Wlad used excessive clinching to get him through the tough spots during the fight, and was able to keep the very green Sam Peter at a good distance enough to land the jab when ever he wanted, and also find openings for the straight right, which got him the relatively close decision in the end.

 

good lord you believe that crap? Sanders steamrolled Wlad and Vitali took Sanders punches and gave him a brutal beating. Wlad does not have the mental or physical toughness of big brother and never will.

So... then Wladimir clearly didn't fall apart when hurt. He clinched when he needed, and kept Peter at bay with his jab, opening up the right hand as well... clearly not the actions of a person falling apart. Especially considering that he dominated 10 rounds out of 12.

 

Haye won in a depleted Cruiserweight dvision.

He is an impostor in the Heavyweights.

 

Wlad's best performance was probably the first fight with Chris Byrd.

Although I may be one of the few that was very impressed with him against Thompson, recently.

 

One point the anti Wladimir posters avoid (especially when repeatedly bringing up his 3 losses!): Those losses came when he was not yet in his prime (Purrity was from nearly 9 years ago!) He is a far better fighter now and still improving.

He didnt completely fall apart, but he did hit the canvas, and looked pretty out of it. I think Peter's inexperience is what kept Wlad in that fight, Peter threw alot of wild punches, especially when he did have Wlad hurt, along with the excessive clinching, kept a mentally fragile very much in the fight.

David Hype AKA David Ego is not good enough to fight Wladimir Klitschko.

Even if in some bizarre matchup he wouldn't ever get close to landing on Wlad.

David Haye is an impostor in the heavyweight division.

 

The Sam Peter fight is impressive for proving Wladimir can take a punch and win a fight. The Second Chris Byrd fight was also impressive, Wladimir stopped Byrd and proved he was back.
