I missed this post but Ill respond by saying that I used to be one of the biggest Floyd fans and I can definetly live without him but the title of this post is Floyd does not need Margarito so I thought that the whole point of a forum would be to take part in it.

Anyway, let me put sense to one side because it looks like I might aswell talk **** like Floyd to gain respect lol...

I am looking forward to those fights you listed too I am a boxing fan why wouldn't I ???

However you want to put it I still cant change the outcome can I and I know about the Bob Arum fiasco but as I said I am not Bob arum so its pointless posing those questions to me.

I mean Floyd is all about Money so hopefully one day the price will be right and if he decides to take the fight then I will be the 1st to order it.

I couldn't understand Duran because I dont speak his language and Ali was an outspoken individual that had a lot of strong opinions to do with black people and social issues, some I agreed with and some I didn't but I could see where he was coming from. He is definetly an icon of our sport thats for sure

    True True True

I dont want to start up controversy and I know this is old news but do you think this type of talk makes sense from a fan standpoint:

I think this guy shits on his fans to be honest

The below link, as I said I know its old news but still

yeah...why fight the most dangerous guy in the division...a fight vs pacman or DLH 2 makes more sense...maybe even hatton II

I dont see how he shits on his fans, when in 2007 his fights sold 3million plus. Somebody wanted to see his fights, guess who, Fans. If he was shitting on them then they wouldnt pay to see him fight.

Yeah I guess your right... Thats if you like to see one sided affairs...

Who is this guy up top is he for real ?

He said why should Floyd fight the most dangerous guy in the division,

Just when I was beginning to think that this was a mans sport.

We might aswell all start wearing pink

I understand what he means though... he's already gone threw the grinder as far as proving himself.... he fought the best of the best at the lower weights... when he was at 130 fighting castillo & chico and those guys he WAS GOING THREW THE GRINDER PROVING THAT HE WAS THE BEST and he accomplished that... when he started fighting at 147 & up is when he started proving just fighting for money... i guess in boxing when you reach a certain point its not about fighting the quote on quote best but its more about making super fights and furtherg growing your legacy by earning belts and stuff like that.... it makes sense honestly

I guess it makes sense to all Mayweather Fans, but then Sugar Shane didn't seem to think it made sense and he is another professional boxer.

The thing is he can convince you with that bull**** that comes out his mouth but it doesn't wash with me. He is not the only one doing it in boxing which is what is the sad thing about it but the heat seems to come back on him simply because of his mouth and what comes out of it.

So Im not saying that I cannot tap into his and your way of thinking but to me its all for his own gain to please himself so personally I couldn't care less whether he comes back or not as of now. I hope Margarito goes on to do bigger and better things, knowing floyd, when Margarito is shot worn thats probably when he will decide to take him

i understand it because how long are you going to fight like your on the come up?

you cant be a prospect your whole entire career.... your career level's off after a while... plus shane never reached popularity like floyd did

Margarito or not....he needs legacy enhancing kind of fights to advance his ATG status and he obviously doesn't seem preoccupied about that, just like RJJ in his better days !
