Well i consider Ortiz better rounded, but i actually rate Tszyu very high at 140, this could potentially be a good fight. Ortiz can outmaneuvre him for me, but Tszyu can make it hard in the centre of the ring with his sharp rights and one-twos. The bout will heat up at some point and i just see Ortiz doing that bit extra to nick it on the cards.

It is possible that Tszyu could do it on his best night though, considering the weight is more his territory than Ortiz's. He would need to turn in a masterclass of the sort he did against Tackie, but Carlos would likely be too adaptable and good.

I personally think Ortiz is just the better fighter overall. The better pure boxer, the better in-fighter, better chin. I shudder to think what might happen to Tszyu if it comes down to a brawl like Tszyu/Phillips. Ortiz was just better equipped in the right areas to win this matchup, and probably by stoppage.

Yeah, once the fight heats up Ortiz will be more active in the exchanges. Tszyu does have genuine power though and could pick something in such a case, but he would be on the backfoot and not too effective. His best interest is to keep it in the centre of the ring and really there he must show top form, ecause he likely just gets outboxed there aswell, i dont see him backing up Ortiz and getting the better of that, Ortiz would be too good.

Ortiz by UD, or late TKO. Just overall too good for Tszyu.

Leaning towards Ortiz by UD But Tszyu's right hand is always a factor. Its so damn accurate.

I don't think Ortiz has never faced anyone with the raw power of Tszyu so it's hard to say with anything near certainty. Ortiz does have a great chin, but Tszyu is a devastating hitter also.

As far as boxing goes, Ortiz is the better boxer and should the fight go to the cards Ortiz will take it.

The likely scenario as I see it is an Ortiz win via a late stoppage, but I could equally envision Tszyu's power keeping Ortiz honest so that he picks his spots to a close UD and even a Tszyu stoppage wouldn't be totally out of the question, even though I think it unlikely.

Comparing Whitaker to Judah is a crime and shame. Whitaker would have beaten Tszyu, and it would not have been close. Tszyu wasnt in Pea's league.

Save the homo-sexual comments for the bed room princess.. I would like to have seem Pernell vs Tszyu.. If your stupid enough to think this would have been a mis-match.. your simply mistaken.

Ortiz was greater...would win a 15 round decision, easily, and I don't underestimate Kostya, in fact, I'm a fan. I'll always be indebted to him for the "chicken dance" that Zab performed so well.

And you would be mistaken if you think tszyu is likely to stop a prime whitaker when a far better puncher in trinidad couldn't accomplish it with a shot version of pea

When did I ever even mention Whitaker vs Tszyu, or Whitaker in this thread at all? Apprently you're too stupid to comprehend a basic concept, or use the word "you're" in a proper context.
