Does Mosley stand a chance?

    Would you argue that Margarito is easier to hit then Mayorga though? I wouldn't, fact I would argue the other way.

    Chin strength also would be in favor of Margarito.

    Granted, styles make fights, and ABC formulas not necessarily telling, but..

    The chances of Mosley getting stopped are not good. He's extremely durable - never ever been stopped by anyone ever. The chances of him winning are in extreme question, however, if he still can't keep himself from throwing only 1-2's, lead right hands, and the occasional lead or counter left hook. He'll have to let his hands go the way he did against Collazo to have a prayer - unless he decides to perfect the art of pot-shotting suddenly.

    mosley has a better chin than cotto. but this could mean more punishment for him with the likes of margarito. i like both fighters but i would root for shane just because he is the underdog. his chance is to outbox margo but this could be low.

    Never been stopped, but Forrest showed us his chin can be cracked. Of course Mosley went on to show his excellent recuperative powers that you mention.

    I dont know about a good chance, but im sure a better chance than most people are giving here on esb.

    He has a definate chance if he uses the right tactics. Gets in & out and out-boxes him

    Margarito won't be clinching and spoiling like Mayorga was, I think it will be easier for Mosley to consistently land on him than he did on Mayorga. Mayo and Margo really aren't similar fighters at all, so I don't think Mosley's last fight is that great an indication of how he'll do in this one.

    He has a chance of course. This fight is not that big of a mismatch that Mosley has zero chance of reaching the 12th round. I expect Mosley to box and move away from Margarito and not slug it out like what Cotto did. Though I still favor Margo to win due to Mosley's age. Mosley can still fight but just don't fight the elites of the division.

    hell yeah. I am going with a mosley UD. Do you guys really think margo hits harder than cotto? Mosley lasted all 12 with miguel. I thought he won that fight to be honest. And rememeber what paul and clottey did to margo. Mosley has talent like that.

    agreed, mosley was dominating forrest those first couple of rounds before the headbutt. Totally changed the fight.

    mosley is a live underdog,im takin a tony ud but wouldnt be too shocked if he becomes the 1st man to get mosley outta there
