Mark Coleman is on this card vs Shogun. The fight is apparently going to be at 205?! Looks like Colemans definitely off the juice. And to think the UFC wanted to pit this guy against Lesnar! I mean is Coleman having a laugh? The guy is 44 and wants to come down to a weight his never fought at in MMA? Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me.

Pretty sure he has dropped to 205 before.

UFC 99???!?! Il take that as a typo dude. Coleman has been in PRIDE since he left the UFC. He hasn't fought since PRIDE33/34 i think.

    Hasn't fought since October 2006, so that'll be a 27 month lay-off. 2 and a bit years.

I guess I will have to look at some of his pride fights then. When this was announced my gut reaction was wow I haven't seen this guy in forever, why are they putting on this fight!?! I am trying to see if my gut was right and this is a dumb fight to put on or if he has a chance. On that note does anyone have some highlights or anything that can legally be posted here for me to get an understanding of his level of fighting when he last fought?

He's ****ed anyway, providing Shogun is back to form. I'm thinking vicious first round beatdown form the clinch. No idea why he has decided to fight more.

This fight is only happening because the first ended in controversy when Shogun broke his arm after being slammed by Coleman. Im just completely baffled as to why Coleman has come down to 205 to make the fight?

Do you guys give credits to Coleman on his win vs Shogun, in the first fight?
