    No, Zech (TKO7, 6'5'') was taller. Ali was 6'3'', Williams, too. Everyone else worth mentioning was smaller (<= 6'2.5'').

    Reach is only from arm pit to fist. You have to add also the length from neck to shoulder to get the final reach. And actually also the height since that adds up also to the range.

    Moreover if featherfist Ali can KO him the so can Klitschko. Or are you claiming that Ali had a harder punch than Wladimir Klitschko?

    In his wins Liston weighted an average of 211.6 lbs.

    Why? Are you related to him? I mean, this is an honest question.

    You mean 6'2'' King? Who boxed at 172 lbs? Who is a featherfist (KOratio 18%). Who has bummy 39 wins in 76 fights?

    What has this guy to do with Liston's PRIME? ((Williams is good though))

    My god, no wonder past time fighters are so overrated.

    I have noted already several times that old time fans put WAY TOO LITTLE on size.

    Moreover they value chin more than fist.

    Are you really suggesting that Ali KO1 Liston is a legitimate result? Beyond all question?


    Your point seems to be that a fighter cannot perform to his best against a journeyman?

    Yes,he is already past his prime and has slowed down in his recent fights and is boring as hell with some exceptions.
    There is no contender in the division to give him a better AT ranking except his brother who he won't fight.Expect to see him get sparked again sooner or later before he ends his career.

    Remembered as that, by who? Do you honestly think it matters what a handful of ESB posters say? I know many more people who don't think of Wlad that way, than people like you who do... so I guess that you are in the minority.

    No I'm not,most people never heard of those guys that stopped him and most people will say he had a glass jaw.Most people say Lennx Lewis had one....Wlad is gonna be remembered as a glass jawed fighter for sure.Probably the poor man's version Lennox Lewis will be his nickname du to working with Stewart.

    Look, if I say that Ali vs Liston I is doubtful the Ali fans insult me. If I say that it's legitimate then Liston fans insult me.

    It's a no-win situation.

    My point is that a good performance against a featherfisty chinachinny BUM means NOT MUCH. And it means NOTHING when you compare ATGs.

    ANY ATG would have made a good performance against King.

    King should not have be mentioned as an example of Liston's Prime.

    King is in the bottom 15 of Liston's wins.

    He most likely will never excell Lennox Lewis status, but I mean.. who ever did that? There are max 6-7 people above Lennox in the ATG list.

    I understand, but that doesn't stop you looking to fing the truth. I like what you do with numbers, but they only tell a part of the story.


    Why? Ali's best performance is often cited as being against Williams. Williams was an imobile shot fighter with an actual bullet lodged in his body and only one kidney when he fought Ali. It doesn't stop Ali looking absolutely at his best.

    That's given, but it's not really the point.

    SO you are are saying it is impossible for a fighter to be primed if he is facing weak opposition?
