he didn't put enough pressure the first fight..he has to bang margos body and stay in the pocket ....he tried to box to much and lost his lrgs....this is why pbf would easily beat margo...cotto was winng easy boxing and he just could not sustain it...pbf can box alot better and has a tank that never runs out,,,,cotto is a warrior he will be back

Good points, the way I see it Margarito is like Terminator, you shoot him and he just keeps walking forward through the bullets. I mean that must be like a living breathing nightmare to any boxer because you cannot seem to disarm your opponent and he drained more energy trying to disarm his opponent instead of implementing his dominance on the fight. His attempts to dominate was just squashed by Margarito, I mean that is some scary **** to have to contend with a second time around.

Yeah, good point. So perhaps this fight brought out the limitations of Cotto's trainer (and uncle i believe), as well as Cotto himself.

    Time for a new coach?

Im tired of this bull****, stop saying Mayweather would easily beat Margarito its ****ing weak, who have you seen bang Margarito to his body, come on, he has tight body defense. I dont buy this whole easy win for Mayweather bull****, he might win the fight but it wont be easy and also until both men are in the ring you cant make such wild predictions, Mayweathers invincibility is still a myth until he actually fights somebody that is worth fighting and not a carefully thought out opponent.

Most definetly, a fresh start would include a new trainer. I noticed that from the countdown show that the mood within the camp was not what Cotto needs. The type of guy he is needs someone to give him solid advise and not just a silent guy in the corner, it seemed like his trainer was just there to do his job and thats it, sometimes a trainer has to become psychologist too and try to get into the boxers head to. I think Cotto must have felt very alone in those later rounds, he needed a pick me up in the later rounds but I dont think he was getting that from his camp.

This is how I know you dont know nothing about boxing. if Cotto stayed in the pocket he would of got knocked out even quicker, dont be stupid bro, dont you know that in the pocket is Margarito's office, Cotto would have been mince meat brother. Assess a fight better than that bro your letting your side down.

Theres an article on Cotto in todays El Nuevo Dia and according to
Cotto and his uncle....adjustments and preparation are on track and
they are fully confident and Cotto is more motivated than ever.

I can see him coming back well, the Margo fight wasnt totally one sided, in fact is he sticks with his boxing and doesnt get dragged into a toe to toe brawl he coud win the rematch.

Id like to see a couple of good wins before he is put in a rematch though.

Cotto was seen as definitely vulnerable, once he was badly hurt in the Ricardo Tores fight which was at Junior Welterweight. He also had been relatively untested against taller lengthier welterweights, so it was unknown how and if he'd be able to handle that. He definitely didn't seem unbeatable after the Tores fight, quite the opposite. But he actually seemed to improve quite a lot after that fight, and he also seemed to retain his punching strength at 147. The problem was that I thought he stood zero chance against Margarito simply because I knew he didn't have the stamina to keep Margarito off of him, and also that he couldn't hurt Margarito enough with his body punches if he fought at his usual methodical pace.
