we all will whenever he leaves a very special fighter who wants to fight the toughest fights always gives the fans what they want a true throwback
I dont think i will miss him. i can just watch his old fights all day long and act like he never retired. and then make bogus fantacy match ups threads between him and chavez
Like most fighters, people won't appreciate him until he is gone. After the dust settles from all the hate and blatant fanboyism that follows him, people MAY view his accomplishments more objectively.
I don't think I will miss him. If he ends 2009 with a bang, he will be remembered as a top p4p fighter. He will beat hatton. But, floyd is another story.
I dont see him as controversial enough or just a big enough star for that many people to miss him..... like yes he is one of the brightest stars in boxing ... if not THE BRIGHTEST! but hes just not that missable or something
Just shut up already you hater, you posted your irrelevant view already, while do you continue to hate?He is more entertaining than almost everybody outhere and you don't need controversy to be entertaining,he does his talking in the ring. You must consider Tyson better than Jack Johnson cuz he was more controversial(altough probably just by a margin for anybody who knows what Johnson did in his time). You damn boxrec warrior.
the fact that he talks trash subtly creates a buzz & your forced to choose a side... either you want to see him win or you want to see him lose... that creates animosity between fans and detractors and that's the type of animosity that is the energy that fuels all sports... fam ... of all the posters on esb you get the award for being on my dick the most & hardest..... congratulations how does it feel?
