That was a damn good 12th round by Williams. He kept Margo off balance, wouldn't let him get off first, and had Margo hitting air. You don't see that happening to Margo in the 12th round. Usually, by that time, he's worn down his opponent. Margo looked like he was a bit tired in that round. Williams has only gotten better since that fight. Margo is essentially the same fighter. I doubt a rematch will ever happen.

I'd rather have margarito's heart and will to win than be a highly talented balless wonder like prima donna mayfeather anyday

We know this;Floyd is vastly more talented, but will never fight Margarito......who, though far less skilled, would sign to fight Floyd at any moment.
    Odd situation really.

JM, c'mon homey. You don't have to exaggerate to make the point that the fight was a good one. Margo fought a really good fight. BUT... PW was not "almost out" at any point in that 11th round.

It's all over YouTube. Watch it. Get back at me with a minute and second count of when he was "out on his feet" or "holding on for dear life" and I will STFU...

And the fact that it was such a great fight is why they deserve to do it again before Marg slows down a bit and gets KTFO, ****in around....

First of Margo didnt CHOOSE to fight Williams he had to, its called a mandatory, and if not for Margo being greedy and wanting more money then he would have gave up the belt and fought Cotto anyways....Margo had no intent on fighting Williams he got backdoored into that fight....Here is how it happened. Margo was set to fight Cotto, which would have meant that he would have been stripped of the WBO for not fighting Williams. Team Margo decided that they wanted more money to fight Cotto, during this time Willams vs Margo went to a purse bid that Goosen won, Arum told Margo that he wasnt getting another dime to fight Cotto and if he didnt like it he could go fight Williams...So there you have it, he didnt just say what the **** Ill fight Williams, not he was forced, and really had no options other then fighting Cotto for what he felt was a small number....

Secondly a rematch with Williams would have earned Margo about the same amount of money as fighting both Shane and cotto, so its not like he was turning down a fight for 1 million and taking one for 2, its the other way around...The williams fight would have paid him four million he will make just over 2 mill for his fight with shane and from what arum said just a bit more then that for a rematch with Cotto...so no he isnt risking a bigger fight should he lose to Williams because Williams is the biggest fight out there for Margo.

    Not gonna happen.:bart

You have a better chance of seeing Bob Arum fight PW himself than for him to let his WW cashcow move up to 154 and get PWNED!

    nah i mean...

    if margarito keeps winning
    and paul williams keeps winning

and floyd doesnt intervene the two (marg).... a point will come in margarito's career when he will HAVE TO fight paul williams to try to avenge himself .....

so lets just hope they both keep winning so we can see that happen at some point
