147 is about as good as it gets for both Pac and Floyd. Floyd won't be depleted, and Pac will be at his strongest. This is a super fight that needs to happen. Pac has a better chance than AM or Cotto to beat Floyd imo. Williams, well...he is on another level lol. Pac can become a legend if he beats Floyd. Beating Leonard coming from a smaller weight made Duran go from a great fighter to a legend in 1 fight. Duran never asked Leonard for any stipulations. He just hated Sugar lol. PAc can achieve the same...only if he doesn't ask Floyd to come to 142-144. That's a weaselistic approach to ask a fighter to come down a few pounds like that from 147. That is very ***** if you ask me.

A lot of fighters sacrifice a couple of lbs to fight the best competition. Some of em win and some loses. But yeah, i understand your point. Why would you give up anything for your opponent when you know you might lose. Its called being smart. kinda like a ***** too imo.

<<<< the one in my avatar is an example

This one..... & to be honest, it would hold some weight, Floyd is about 32 now & IMO choose a bad time to take more than a yr out.

Id like to see him fight a durable tune-up, someone that will last the full 12 before he faces one of the elite p4pers personally.

I hate excuses, especially when those excuses have merit, I love 2 prime/close to prime guys with no excuses testing each other, a bit like Marg/Cotto, thats the fights we want to see.

Listen you geek, that is only 3 or 4 lbs to drop from 147. I don't see the point! Answer this...why should Floyd only drop 3-4 lbs from his weight that he won his undisputed ww title? Why? You Pac fans never have a serious answer when asked this question. How can you brag about what PAc did to Dlh, and what Dlh did to Floyd, and than ask Floyd to come down a few lbs?????????? What the !#$!$@ is that about. It tells us sane fans that PAc or Roach need Floyd to be weakened a bit.

I can think of a couple.

    1. Floyd was over-rated.
    2. Floyd is g#y.
    3. Floyd has ring rust.
    4. Floyd was past his prime. The de la Hoya fight was pretty close.
    5. Floyd was sick or is injured. He has complained many times about injuries. One of the main reasons he retired.
    6. Floyd is not motivated any more.
    7. Floyd was robbed!
    8. Floyd was weight drained.
    9. It was daddy's fault!
    10. Floyd is shot.
    11. Floyd is partying too much with rap moguls.
    12. It was roger's fault for not training me.
    13. I'm a professional dancer now, not a fighter.
    14. Can't give up on those jaw-breakers candy. They are addictive.
    15. Floyd now is into coke.
    16. Floyd can't say no to Popeye's chicken.

    And the list goes on..............:hi:

Why dont we try reversing the scenario... Donaire went a division lower to fight Vic. Maybe to get revenge for his brother or simply because he wants to fight whom people said was the best of that division. Roach wasn't asking PBF to fight at 140lbs, he atleast wants to compromise.

Well for 1 Im not even a ****ing Pac Fan so erase that from your memory.
And 2 I dont give a **** about who is what weight all Im concerned about is the fight happening.
Its bitches like you who keep on bringing up this whole weight issue.
Its like your hung up on it...
    Get over it...
Just wait until the fights happen and then we can squabble over the finer details after...
Otherwise all this back and forth over weight discussion is gay...
