GSP isnt going to wanna stand with BJ Penn its to dangerous he wont wanna be KOed agian thats why hes tried to go for takedowns constantly in all of his fights then exept for Fitch whos just a medicore striker at best. BJ already dominated GSP in the standup once and this time his cardio will be alot better he will stuff more of GSPs takedowns and start catching him with knees shooting in. BJ Penn with catch him with a good one drop him and finish him off with a submission ala Matt Hughes style he hurts him has him go into a ball and boom finish the mother****er.

Wow, i'm pumped for this fight, finally, a fight who will bring big emotion on this board.

Just sad for people in Penn's fan club:deal

"Did you see GSP's face" that's what alot of experts point to when they talk of how B.J. dominated GSP on his feet. It was from an eye poke and a punch that grazed his nose which caused the bleeding. GSP will have no prob standing with Penn....and maybe just to proove a point.

Actually, I wouldnt be surprised, if GSP want to keep the fight standing for the first round. But I wouldnt like that, the plan should be to to tire him out, with a lot of clinch, just to mandhandle him on the fence, with his great strenght

You said that GSP picked apart Fitch on his feet. What I was getting at was that saying GSP is great on his feet or is not gun-shy then backing up the point by saying he picked apart someone who, let's be honest, is not a striker, just doesn't work.

Saying Penn doesn't have much more power in his hands than Fitch is a joke. How does he not have heavy hands? He outstruck and bloodied Sean Sherk then knocked him out. He knocked down Stevenson in the first seconds of their bout. He made GSP look like he'd been through 3 hard rounds after just 1. Then there are the brutal KO's that he scored at the beginning of his career.

I haven't said anywhere that GSP is scared of BJ standing. What I will say though, is that if he has a brain he will know that to win he is going to have to take BJ down and pound on him.

Stevenson has a **** chin, a ****in WEAK chin, ALWAY hurt in each fight. If ****in Jason Von Flue, can put him on ***** street, that tell you a lot
He bloodied Sherk, with jabs, because of reach advantage, and his face was messed up, because Sherk has a skin whose not thick, again. then knock him out with his KNEE.

People always love to point out GSP's chin and bla bla bla that he has a glass chin, which is completly ******ed, well, Penn caught him with good shot in the first round, how come he didnt get knocked out? he didnt even blink.

If GSP want to win the fight standing, he could. He has the tool for it, it would just be stupid, 'cause of his talent with takedown, and his ground game.

Actually BJ rocked Sherk with a punch THEN kneed him in the face. And what evidence is there that Stevenson has a **** chin? He's been knocked out once and that was by Jens Pulver.

GSP may have an OK chin but if he gets hit in the temple, like I think he did in the Serra fight, he's ****ed. You saw his reaction, he was ****ed and could never get his balance back.

And you say you wish people would stop saying BJ dominated GSP in the stand up. Ok, he didn't dominate but he did win, I felt quite comfortably. But I'd also wish you guys would not always just say 'he was poked in the eye'. If he was why didn't he stop? Why didn't he tell the referee? It didn't look like a poke to me. Looked like a jab. And the cut was BELOW the eye. I think GSP was pawing at the cut that was in a very uncomfortable position.

I expect BJ to lose, but not before he delivers (hopefully) some considerable amount of punishment to the face of that frenchie.

Stevenson has great recovery but his chin is very poor
Cummo hurted him, Jason Von Flue did,Neer did, Penn did and if I aint mistaken, Pellegrino did, but I dont remember well.

GSP didnt react well, that's a fact, that was the first time of his career, an experience. Don't mean it will be the same thing next time he got caught
He did win the contest standing, but that was tight, GSP did landed more, but BJ landed the hardest shot. And rewatch the replay, Penn did poke him in the eye, in an interview, Penn admit it when he was implying that people think of him like a cheater but was saying other use 'roid.

I'm taking GSP by either decision or late TKO in the championship rounds (4 or 5). Through 3 rounds I expect the bout to be very close, though I honestly don't know what to expect in terms of who will be in control or how the bout will unfold. Both fighters are just too good and too skilled to really know. Ultimately I just see GSP's strength and stamina pulling it out for him in the final rounds.
