who do you think will win between DeGale and Sutherland. If their careers develop as I expect them to they are bound to meet at some point for a title of some sorts. I know Buncey is egging them, Groves and Jeffries(?) as the next greay fab four.

    Anyway what do you think

    Sutherland can punch.

That means DeGale won't be going anywhere near him unless he leaves Sports Network.

    Honestly......

Sutherland would either stop him late or win a UD on workrate. DeGale reminds me of Witter, in more ways than one.

Unless DeGale surprises me and makes a successful transition to the pros then I'll take Sutherland.

i think degale will make a good pro as he has fast hand and fast feet and is hard to hit but he needs to improve abit and get more of a pro style

whereas darren already ahs a pro style

so i think if they fought early in there careers darren wins but later in the careers degale as i feel he has better potential than darren if he can learn a pro style

I think it's interesting to see everyone's early views with the new British golden boy of boxing. If you think it's a pointless thread then why feel the need to submit a post? It's like watching something on telly you hate, change the frikking channel and quit complaining.

I'd like to see Degale fight pro before i'd make any prediction. Sutherland looked very good in his pro bebut but I don't see him getting much better. De Gale is younger... it will definately be interesting to see the difference between Sports Networks safety first boring bull **** approach and Maloneys more aggresive matchmaking.

After only having one pro fight Sutherland, surely can only get better... fair enough he's 26 but he has still got time on his side...
DeGale will no doubt as you say have a more padded out recorded by the time they meet (an warren will ship out manfredo or some cannon fodder for him in 2 years time an list it as PPV quality), whilst Sutherland will probably have more credible wins against tougher opposition....but alas who knows what will actually happen...:nut

Sutherland already has a professional style his transition will not be as difficult as DeGales.

Sutherland would beat him even with 1 minutes notice. Degale is a **** mouth full of **** (apart from when he is with his dad).

Both should make pretty good pros. I'm puzzled why so many think DeGale won't. His style is perfect for the pros and a longer fight will suit him. Of course, if he stays with SN for any degree of time his development will be seriously impaired just as Khan's has, but that's a different argument

Yeah but staying with SN for any degree of time will definately help his wallet!

hes already got a range rover sport! what more could he want? :D

But in all seriousness i hope the boy does well and doesnt turn into a Fraudley who was spoilled with a big contract straight out of the gates

I bet he would prefer the £2m deal he kept pretending promoters were offering him.

its common knowledge degales get 1.5mil and that warrens offer was not the highest
