Casual fans easily buy into the over hyped HBO Hype jobs like Floyd so to answer that question yes the casual fan who doesnt know **** about Boxing would be following the fight due to the great job of promoting that peice of **** Mayweather Jr.

and his biggest win was not Gomez, it was Cintron, and Six heads Lewis and Antonio Diaz:deal

Let me fix that, "Six Heads Zero Chins" Lewis, at least you're honest with his biggest wins.

Laughable how you to try to squeeze yourself out of that. Mayweather's hype was very well justified by what he has accomplished in the ring and the list of names on his record is all over. The only name you can mention for Margarito is Cotto, any other name you wouldn't even dare to mention with a straight face.

By the way, you're forgetting something. Manuel "Unranked Shotgun" Gomez was a solid title defense on PPV.

    shits true...

    margs win over cotto

    is bigger than

    williams win over marg....

there equally impressive but cotto just had so much momentum at the time that marg beat him....

All I have to say is this:
Baldomir, Gatti, and a coming off a loss Judah= The greatest of-all-time chump; yet you swallowed hook, line, and sinker. Great job!! :patsch

Yes I am honest with his biggest wins at welter at the time, now you try, at the time Floyd was offered the fight his biggest wins at Welter weight where who?:think

Sharmba Mitchell:rofl I am sorry but atleast Margaritos wins "At that time" were a bit more impressive than a win over Mitchell who is not even a welter and was no where near his prime.

I guess if Paul didnt insist on the fight with Tony at that moment he would have his moment with Margarito who would have had a win over Cotto, just before the williams fight they were talking about Margarito Cotto then Williams cried for his mandotory and he got it.

Had Williams allowed Cotto Margarito to happen and offered to fight the winner, Paul would be in a much better place now in terms of his place in the divison but it didnt happen that way, sux for paul becuase to me even though he isnt the greatest fighter, IMO I would rather watch him over Mayweather Jr any day of the week.

    Unlike Floyd, Paul takes risk.

Judah and Baldomir, those two wins all alone made Mayweather the #1 Welterweight and WBC/Lineal champion.

What the hell was Margarito doing?, Manuel Gomez was offering something?, Six Heads Zero chins maybe?

Hmm, still nothing, I got it!, Golden Johnson!

Manuel Gomez was surely in his prime if he had any, Andrew Lewis?, Sebastian Lujan?, Hercules?

Those are Margarito's CAREER defining victories we're talking about man and you're comparing Mayweather's Welterweight resume with Margarito's CAREER and still it's competitive. What would happen if we compare both careers?, someone's definitely getting sliced to pieces. :rofl

Glad to know you're honest, now show more honesty and watch Sebastian Lujan, Andrew Lewis, Manuel Gomez and Hercules fight to get a reality check.

sorry dude, but a shot gatti that got beat by the legendary alfonso gomez from the contender, an oscar that couldn't pull the "trigger", and a 5'6'' fighter that's as tall as a featherweight doesn't fare much better to me. all floyd did was fight names. no doubt he's got skills, but you can't be shortchanging margo until floyd actually does something about it

Gatti was the best available at 140 and Gatti fought Gomez at 147, even Gatti knew he doesn't belong at 147.

And you are discrediting Floyd for fighting Hatton who is 5'6 yet Margo is 5'10 and Floyd is 5'8 :nut:nut

Oscar couldn't pull the trigger because Floyd made it that way.

Again we are talking about at Welter weight, your reverting back to Floyd career prior to welter weight and yes it is something amazing, but lets just be real for one second.
Margarito would have whipped all the fighters Floyd whipped so its kind of hard to sit there and say becuase Floyd did actually fight and beat those guys he is automaticly the better of the two or that it means he will beat Margarito.

Floyd is not fighting Margarito for a reason and that reason is becuase Floyd doesnt want to go out like that, he isnt stupid, Floyd knows what he is faced with if he fights Tony, and Floyds little ego is just as fragile as he is, he doesnt want the world to know he can be beat.

I dont care what you say here scar you can bring up any name that Floyd beat and it doesnt mean **** to me, he does have some great wins but when a man has that many names on his resume, why is he so scared then to fight Margarito?

For a man so skilled why isnt he willing to test those skills? why would he turn down 8 million dollars? I get it that linear crap right? get ****ing real that linear arguement means jack, he hasnt done anything at welter weight Margarito has pretty much stamped himself at WW and is now the man to fight if you are a welter weight.

Floyds talks of a come back recently after the pacquiao massacar of DLH suddenly came to an end you ever wonder why? I spoke with Roach last week and he said they are not taking a Mayweather fight under any circumstances, leaving Floyd to go right back into that hole of his, why wouldnt he just simply fight Margarito since he claimed he was comming back?
you know why scar, its okay to admit that Floyd is affriad of fighting a real fighter.

    Overweight Hatton?

Hatton weighed 154 against Floyd, not 160 like he weighed against Collazo.

Get your facts straight before you just spit **** out.
