And fighting Cotto coming off a win against the legendary Manuel Gomez is a warrior's approach!

Floyd doesn't need to do something about NOTHING, it's only the current P4P#1 who should be Mayweather's main target because that's his position before retirement. Margarito was NEVER in no NORMAL P4P list, Mexican ones aside, before he fought Cotto and not even close. It's Margarito who should be doing something about a LOSS and a guy who handed him DOUBLE the amount he's making in his next fight but was refused.

That's when a fighter needs to make a move, talking trash then going on to beat the likes of Manuel Gomez and LOSING is NOT the way to attract P4P kings. When he avenges his loss and proves that he's there for the legacy as he was promoted to be, which was known to be bull**** long ago and only confirmed to the blind ones now, then I'll agree that Mayweather should fight him.

Holding on to a WBOgus paper title while a unified champion has been around since 2001 fighting complete tomato cans is NOT the way to attract anyone sane.

Why the **** would Mayweather ditch a fight for the undisputed unified titles and go for Margarito's WBOgus?, if Mayweather made that move he would have been bashed on and big time.

 So Floyd didn't beat Oscar, Oscar beat himself? Right..

    Margo made Floyd scared? Please..

The best part about all of this is you act like Margo is going to gain anything from beating Floyd.

margo SHOULD beat Floyd, the fact that someone can debate it is sad.

How can you say AM would beat everyone PBF fought when almost everyone PBF fought was under under 147? If Margo was in the same weight classes as Floyd, do you think he would've beat JLC, Diego, or Hatton?

E, c'mon, why in the hell wouldn't the fight be at 140 than 147? it was obvious hatton was not the same in his fight with collazo, most even think he lost it. floyd jumped on that like rob halford on peewee herman. he knew he was ripe for the picking. how you supposed credit that?

Because Hatton challenged Floyd not vice versa.

    Hatton weighed 154 against Mayweather

    Hatton weighed 160 against Collazo

    Hatton weighed 152 against Paulie.

Hatton was not overweight. That's a fact.

Mayweather weighed 147 on fight night against Hatton. he didn't gain anyweight.

Mayweather fights at what he weighs in at.

Cause at the end of the day, there wasn't such a size difference. Sure Floyd had the reach and height advantage by only 2 inches, but Hatton weighed more than PBF on fight nite. And wasn't it Hatton who was constantly saying that the weight wasn't a problem for him, it made his weight loss easier, and that he was more powerful than PBF? Even if you wanna say weight was an issue, a clash of the two undefeated stars at 140 would've produced the same results

We're talking about Welterweight because you can't AFFORD to talk about career accomplishments in GENERAL, not because we HAVE to, there's no such thing as having to. Margarito's career defining victory just came a few months ago by beating Cotto, the same Cotto who campaigned at 140 and was WAY smaller than him. That's the ONLY major win on his record and his desperate attempt to make money out of the recognition it got him is VERY clear as he ducks a man that beat him to fight for half the amount against yet another smaller fighter coming off a LOSS to a guy he beat recently in Cotto, go ****ing figure.

Yeah he would have whipped all the fighters on the planet, he's this era's Hagler right?

Then please explain to me why he made a career feasting on tomato cans like Manuel Gomez, Zero chins and Cintron?

Why didn't he fight the undisputed champion of the division, which has been unified since 2001?

The entire division ducked him?, sorry I'm not from Tijuana nor am I ******ed to believe such nonsense.

He didn't fight Margarito in 2006 because another undisputed lineal champion was available and he didn't fight him in 2007 because Margarito couldn't keep his hypejob alive long enough when he lost to Williams. Get your facts straight.

The talks about Mayweather being scared is Arum promoting his fighter and being bitter about Mayweather leaving him to secure a megafight with DLH while Margarito continued to feast on tomato cans.

The real example of being scared is when a fighter turns down a career high payday to fight a guy he lost to for LESS money against a safer opponent. Isn't that what Margarito just did?

Where is the gladiator who will fight for nickles when legacy and pride is on the line?, a part of Arum's hypejob, that's where it is.

He turned down 8 million dollars to make the exact same amount fighting the WBC/Lineal champion and officially recognized as the best Welterweight in the world.

Why is Margarito turning down $4million dollars to rematch a guy that beat him only to accept $2million for a clearly safer Mosley who's last fight at WW is a loss to Cotto(a guy he beat)?

You might have spoken to Roach, I wouldn't deny that or call you a liar but judging by the many VIDEO interviews and even articles, Roach mentions that they want Mayweather right after Hatton. Arum mentioning Mayweather's name recently as a possible fight for Pac next year is the proof to it.

When Margarito decides to at least ATTEMPT to avenge ONE just ONE out of FIVE losses then we'll talk.

did margo have a better resume than cotto? i don't think so. i'm really living in the present, and in the present floyd simply don't want none. if he never fights margo, that's fine, because he never really had to. but he'll never be up there with SRR. i think he's a great fighter below 140, but some of you guys give him way too much credit. margo almost gets as much credit as floyd does by simply beating the p4p#2 in the world. had floyd beaten cotto, he'd be the top welter today and a step closer in doing what he said he was going to do, not making it shower with monopoly money

, last sentence was nice. But at least Floyds name is bought up in EVERY conversation when we're talking about the G.O.A.T., cant say that about Margo, Cotto or Pwill.

floyd's an ATG, but no way is he gonna replace Ali or Robinson as the GOAT. as for those 3, unlike floyd, they ain't retired, so they ain't done yet. pw might beat margo convincingly in a rematch or beat pavlik, margo might ko cotto again or beat pw in a rematch, or cotto can have his revenge vs. margo. anyone of those 3 doing any of that is a better victory than any of floyds entire career. i'm not even sure if he could beat clottey. not saying he can't, but putting him as a GOAT when he hasn't even faced any of those 4, think he really deserves GOAT? maybe in another dimension
