He has a good chin not great, if he is continually hit by floyd's shots (which he would) he won't make it to the final bell.

Are you seriously suggesting Floyd would beat Rocky Marciano?

With all of your moronic jibber jabber you fail to add the note that Margarito is cumbersome and has horrible foot work. Also the fact that he loops around the world with ALL of his power shots which are the slowest of any top welter. Floyd would literally see all of his shots coming as do all Margarito opponents, its just that those guys cant avoid all of them and eventually get worn down. Floyd would win this fight with his feet. Margarito is an easy target to score on so Floyd does not have even get creative with his offense unless he wants to. He can lead the right hand and slide as he does brilliantly. And there is nothing Margarito can do about it but get punched and show his chin resistance and taunt and egg on for more which he would do but Floyd wont be baited by the goon. If Margarito gets Floyd against the ropes, Floyd would make him miss horribly but Margarito may get some glancing blows on elbows, shoulders etc etc. Cotto made margarito miss majority of his shots with his back against the ropes. Margarito's only advantage is size and his unrelenting nature. But...the way Floyd fights may be able to crack his hard shell. Baldomir gave up in the first round once he noticed the speed difference and how he got peppered with clean shots that did not hurt him but bust his face to hell. Margaritos only chance is if Floyd hurts his hand punching his head at an awkward angle. That is it.

Cotto never stood a chance of beating Floyd, not at 140. Not at 147 either, but more of a chance. Floyd would probably beat Margarito simply by countering with all sorts of power shots. I sincerely think that Floyd could knock Margarito out with a TKO because he's just such an accurate puncher. If he fought Margarito like Coralles, like I expect he'd have to, it would be another special Mayweather performance. Honestly, he should take the fight to silence the critics forever. Whenever he says "Who's Margarito. I'm hear to make big money fights. Noone's here to prove who's the best", an angel doesn't get his wings :(

he's an egotistical fighter, just like Sugar Ray Leonard. They need to be the center of attention. Ray eventually came back a few times, and I firmly believe that Floyd will do the same.

I give Shane a great shot at beating Floyd in his prime. About the only guy in the last 10 years I would give a shot.

If there was a 147 version of Rocky Marciano today, yes PBF would beat him at 147

Your not just going to hit floyd with a right hand, because floyd has developed the ability to keeps his eyes open during exchanges, along with the fact that he great head movement, so winging the right hand is not the answer, atleast not for margarito its not the answer.
A well educated right hand is what needed to catch floyd flush , which margarito does not have. margaritos best bet is to use what he has, which his size, strength and work rate , if margarito looks to catch floyd with a flush right hand, he can for get it he's too slow, and he has never showed evidence in his past fights that he has a smart right hand.

I think against a defensive guru like Mayweather you gotta have a guy that can throw 80 or more punches a round and has great stamina. Relentless pressure. Even if a lot doesn't land you may get credit for out-working him. The problem of course is getting stopped in you're tracks by his counter-punching and being taken out of you're rhythm. Margarito almost fits that but he is agile enough on his feet to track Floyd down and duck punches. I think so ay least but I doubt we will every get to see it of course. It would be good because he would make Floyd fight for sure even if he lost. Paul Williams would give him a tough fight but Floyd won't fight him either.
