It was well made, but very biased. If all you knew about the fights came from this documentary, this would probably be your image of them: FOTC: Ali gets a one-sided beatdown. (Nothing is said of Frazier being put in hospital afterwards, or that some of his own people thought he should retire) Rematch: Ali, with help from the ref, holds and runs his way to a decision. (Nothing is said of round 2 being cut short when Ali had Frazier in serious trouble) Manilla: Ali wins due to Frazier's only good eye closing. It's implied that Frazier could have won not only by TKO had Futch not stopped him, but also that he had a chance at winning on points or getting a draw. (No mention is made of him being hopelessly behind on the official scorecards)
Frazier was in the hospital, but it was not because of the fight. Frazier was having kidney problems. Almost killed him. But he recover. Again, non fight relation.
I've heard otherwise. Anyway, there's no doubt that it was a very punishing fight for him as well. Most agree that he was never the same afterwards, and some even claim it ruined him. That's hardly what you take from the documentary.
No way does Frazier get knocked out By Ali in the second fight anyway. It took seven KDs to get the fight stopped in his fight with Foreman and he got up from every single KD. Do you realize he had a good chance at KOing the exhausted Ali who collapesed after getting up to celebrate? He definetly had more stamina left in the tank than Ali.
I don't believe in the hatred, Frazier must of had emense respect for Ali for what they have both been through !! With the name calling Ali had apologized and said it was only fun he never really hated Joe Frazier !! Soo Frazier should let bygones be bygones.
You make it all seem tame, but Ali did things that were way over board. I sorry, but you just dont go around calling some one a Tom or the good slave or a Ape in regards to race. Ali relly went over board there.

I don't think Ali would have KO'd him either. But that not even a mention was made of this shows what the documentary tries to highlight. And you come to this conclusion how? By the fact that Frazier was more or less out on his feet in the 14:th? Ali also collapsed shortly after KO'ing Foreman. Was he on the verge there also, or can it have to something with the emotion of emerging the winner from such a fight? Anything is possible, but the far likeliest scenario is Frazier getting badly hurt or even killed.
During the Champions Forever shoot, they had dinner and Frazier got drunk. Frazier kept trying to go after Ali, so Holmes and Foreman took turns holding Frazier back. Ali was oblivious to what was going on.
Frazier supported Ali with money from for three years when he wasnt allowed to fight in the US and was a proponent of him being reinstated with a boxing license. Ali then turned around and basically threw all of that in his face and ****ed him over by haranguing him with racial slurs and insulting him. I believe Frazier felt betrayed, and I also believe Frazier felt he could have won that third fight, even if he was horribly behind. Frazier was overshadowed by Ali, and everyone remembers Alis victory in the third fight, never Fraziers victory in the first, when he knocked Ali down, something few fighters were able to do. I can understand Frazier hating Ali after all these years. Ali is seen as being very benevolent now, but in his day Ali could be incredibly disrespectful and act like a *****, he was not a nice fellow. And that Third fight with Frazier likely damaged Ali more than any fight of his career. And Frazier knows it. Maybe it is disturbing to many that he would be proud of it, but I think Frazier has the right to feel that way.
“I should have been picked. I am in shape. I wish Ali had fallen in [into the Torch]. If I had the chance, I would have pushed him in.” after the rest of the world was all choked up watching Ali light the Olympic torch in 96.
Frazier's bad will is starting to look as bad as Ali's treatment of him. He needs to get the fukk on with life  Maybe some counselling wouldn't go astray, but i can well imagine what Papa joe thinks of such sissy stuff.
