This is a good fight. Both are pretty much even talent wise. I give GSP an advantage standing and i give penn advantage on the ground. Both have improved since their first fight but penn has fix his only weakness and that was his cardio. During the penn-sherk fight, penn look fresh even after the 3rd round so i think he will be able to g 5 rounds with gsp. I do expect penn to try for takedowns and try to submit gsp cuz if the fights end up to be striking, gsp might win by decision.

Stevenson ill agree doesnt have a iron chin but weak **** chin or whatever you call it isnt exactly true. Why is this because hes been hurt a bunch of times ? Nogueira has been dropped in like 10 fights but only stopped once past his best noboddy calls his chin weak. Stevenson has been stopped in 1 fight that I know of when he was like 17 years old fighting Jens Pulver who we all know hits like a tank.

Chin and recovery skill are different for me
I've said it that his recovery skill are very good, but his chin, dont help him at all.

Well it dont take much to be hurt in MMA your basically being hit with a wraped hand.

you got a point, but Stevenson, who has a real good base of boxing, with good power, don't have the chin to hold to take some punch, and seem to always choke finally, vs good opponent.
It's a shame though, very talented.

Im taking BJ. No diss to GSP, the guy is great.

Its mental toughness, thats where BJ has an edge.

I think GSP can grind out a decision.

There are two things certain in this fight..BJ will not be submitted and he will not be koed..Im not so sure if GSP can avoid both fate

Sure he could. Rashads explosive and Chucks been Koed before.
With BJ there is no precedents. He eliminates a couple of outcomes already when you fight him. He wont lose by sub, he would be Koed, you can even add that he wont tap.

What does that leave GSP? Decision and ref stoppage. He can win by those.

BJ can win by sub, KO, Stoppage and decision being the least likely

If GSP wins, he will earn it and he is a classy guy as well, its good to see guys like him on top of the sport

GSPs classiness is so overatted. Hes such an excuse maker go watch the extras on the UFC 50 DVD he tells Matt Hughes to his face "I didnt sleep for 2 days" what a *****. Then he tells Serra no excuses until a few weeks later we hear all about his personal problems headed in. No you lost because it was your night.

I think he is genuinely a nice guy but , hes just not in your face who tells it straight up therefore he has a tendency to flip flop and sound whiny. BJ is a great guy but hes brash. Might not be a poster boy like GSP but I can guarantee you, hes much more fun to hang out with
