my point is lockett, ouma, jennings, rubio are lesser names than froch, at least froch brings a world title.

They only go for low class fights.

I hope this fight gets made in the UK.

I want them 168lbs titles to stay in Europe, we can adopt Jermain Taylor aswell, as it seems like HBO and American networks don't give a damn about him anymore. At least I recognize a true good fighter when I see one, Jermain is all business.

Hit the nail on the head there.

HBO no longer has an exclusive contract with Taylor (Taylor-Pavlik II was the last one of a 5 fight deal), and frankly Taylor never became the kind of draw they were banking on him becoming. I'm sure they'd be happy to air it as a BAD, but this fight probably isn't worth WCB kind of money.

During one of Dan Rafael's recent ESPN chats he said that Taylor's deal with HBO is over. The Lacy fight was the final one under his contract.

While Taylor-Froch may be a good fight, I think HBO wants to be out of the Jermain Taylor business. Unfortunately I think Taylor-Froch may end up being a casualty of that.

Source? Or at least point me in the direction you found it...

If this is the case, Taylor should take his ass to Showtime for the Froch fight, who would be more than happy to air it.

It's Top Rank PPV... not HBO PPV.

HBO isn't even distributing the PPV. Top Rank is doing it altogether.
