I wouldn't call it 0...at 140 he faced that best that was available...He asked for guys like tszu and Hatton and even Cotto (see bruseles fight) but they weren't available to fight for whatever reason..so he took the Gatti fight...Ndou was 31-1 30kos...Judah was #2 by ring magazine...Mitchell was basically a stay busy fight...Corley and Bruseles were title eliminators...If it's stupid than why do most boxing ATG lists have him as top 50??? whoops, must be a misprint on all of em right???..

 

N ur boy Margo will never be mentioned as an ATG or even top 150...Peace out!

 

Wouldnt be at all suprised,huge for a welterweight!Boxed as high as light middle,could probably compete at middle.With weigh ins now usualy around 36 hours befor the first bell many fighters are now fighting below what would of been there natural fighting weight in years gone by.Also the inactivaty of todays top fighters dosnt help.

Floyd wanted a title at 140. Zoo fights for Showtime an impossible fight to make.

Harris was worthless. (Proved that the night of the Gatti fight)

WBC put Floyd in two WBC eliminators, Brussles, horrible fight. Corley, a solid win and fight. And Gatti, the title win, and PPV that blasted him into the spotlight.

EVERYONE agrees 140 Cotto was still green, and cutting too much weight.

If Floyd fought him there, you know how worthless of a win that is?


Hatton's team said they weren't ready for him yet. And, it wouldn't of mattered. Hatton wouldn't of weighed anything less than what he weighed against Floyd on fight night when he did fight him. (Maybe a 1b or 2 less)

 

As I stated best available is a pathetic term to use when Margarito was the best available until he found a way out in Carlos Baldimor.

 

Done zero but become P4P #1 win a title at 140 and linear championship at 147 and a title at 154 and become ring fighter of the year for 2007.:deal Yeah that sounds like nothing alright and too bad authorites of the sport don't agree with your pathetic argument.
