Because it factors into the discussion that's why. For example you have a fight at 140 one guy on fight night comes in at 144 the other guy comes in at 156 that's a 12 pound advantge that can't be overlooked and what it also tells me is the other guy should be fighting at 147 not 140.

I guess we gotta start making excuses for Margarito once he loses like weight drain, looking ahead to Cotto and ive heard hes took alot of punishment in his career (like Mosley is some spring chicken or something)

Cotto is the man at 147.

Neither Margarito nor Williams should be anywhere near that weight.

Exactly. I mean, just because 2 guys make the weight limit, you cant factor out size. Look at the size difference between PBF & Gatti on fight night, or PBF & DLH on fight night. You cant overlook size & say its not a factor at all.

Even if you remove Williams & Margo from 147, Cotto still isn't the man. I'd take Clottey over him anyday.

I could care what you say, period. You just sound like you don't know what your talking about when you make your lil statements. YOUR BOY MARGO DOESN'T CRACK THE TOP 100 ATG...AND I'D TAKE FLOYD BY WIDE UD IF HE FOUGHT TONY..HANDS DOWN...SO WHAT YOU SAY MAKES NO SENSE PERIOD..

AGREED WIT YA! Williams has the most right to that title. Margo was beat by Williams 8 rounds to 4...Cotto got battered by the man Margo beat...As long as Williams can make the weight than he is the man to beat at 147....

Basicly what your saying is that its unfair that Floyd should have to fight Margarito becuase of the size factor, So this means you to are afraid to see a fight between Floyd and Margarito, has Tony got you all shook up like that

Good take Floyd to beat him by a WIDE UD, just be here when and if the fight happens thats all I ask. Just as you predicted Cotto to win and was proven wrong, Margarito will once again prove you wrong.

I'm saying the only reason AM would have a shot is because of the weight factor. If he weighed 147 on fight night, its easy money in da bank for PBF

Oh so now you want to strip away a Drs recommendation that a fighter properly hydrate himself, in other words your looking for a short cut kind of victory not a real one. I feel ya, its typical mayweather garbage.

Mayweather weighs 1 on fight night, and I guarantee every dr in the world would approve him of fighting at that exact weight. Cant say the same about AM. So what I'm saying is that AM should fights in a weight class where he doesn't have to drain himself.

I'll be here regardless...your right, I did pick Cotto to win..but Floyd won't trade with Tony like Cotto and Floyds faster than Tony and Cotto...SPEED KILLS

So what if Floyd does that its his choice nobody is making him, and Tony sure doesnt have to follow suite to please PBF, its pretty pathetic what excuse your bringing to the table now, today we have heavyweights that range from 201-312 pounds and do you hear any of the heavyweights talking about size? I didnt think so, Shut up now.

Floyd is faster than Tony, but are you sure both of his hands hold up? I mean if one of them get hurt that is it, and you know that is very likely to happen, especially when Cotto nailed Margarito with everything except the ring post and never even hurt Tony a little bit.

Floyd may not stand and trade but he will be forced to either fight the way Cotto did or get beat to a pulp, there is no way this is a hit and dont get hit kind of match.
