It simply doesn't matter. As long as Margarito fights at 147, thats all he should be held accountable for. You can't ask a guy to match another persons achievements just to warrant a fight with them. If that were the case Zab Judah should never have gotten a fight with Mayweather.

Those weight classes do not matter if Floyd is not fighting in them, right now Floyd is a welter so is Tony and look at what Tony was able to do while Floyd moved up to Welter he beat some of the top welters out there to beat, he fought all of the top welters where are Floyds Top welters?

Floyd isn't a welter. If his career was based on him being a welter, he would've fought most of his fights there. And like I said, I've yet to see Margo dominate bigger opponents like PBF did

This is whats wrong with boxing. If you're going to move up into a new division you should fight the best in that division. Like I said before, as long as is at 147 he doesn't need to match Mayweathers accomplishments in any weight class other than 147 to deserve a fight with him. He has done more than enough.

As one of the seemingly few who has seen the source, here's my take: If you're a gambling man, which I am, it's not worth factoring in.

No offense to the OP, but this thread may be much ado about nothing.

Thats true too. But thats when the retirement factor comes into play. If a man wants to retire, he should be free to retire and everyone should respect that.

This thread turned into a Floyd thread around page 3 when Aztek brought him up.

Let me add that I talked to the OP again, he doesn't claim it's rock solid, just wanted to bring it up and hope someone could shed light onto it. No harm done.

    :good

I try to gather as much info as possible before wagering, I'm glad you brought it up though, maybe somebody else heard the same thing or had more info to share.

The betting public seems to agree that the only question is whether Margo will KO him, or decision him. Margo's stamina and health going into the fight plays a factor there, if he's in shape, I see Mosley's corner stopping it.

If you do live betting, this could be a very profitable bout. Mosley should do well early, maybe ahead after 5, at which the betting line on Margo will be near even. Then pounce, and watch Margo dominate the latter half to an easy payday.

Aztek must be the goofball with the Floyd crying avatar. Yes, how dare a professional athlete, or human being, show emotion after shutting out the undisputed champion of his division.

I can understand dislike towards Floyd's character, but the way his career has been trashed is utterly ridiculous. I don't join in the discussions because smart people already cover it, while the idiots keep re-hashing the same bull****.

Suffice to say, Floyd is an incredible talent, and seemingly a likable person. The lavish self-gifting is too much though. Keep that **** private.

Roughly -500/+400 in favor of Margarito. And yet money continues to come in for Margarito, which tells you what people think of Mosley's chances.

If someone were to tell you at any point during his career that you could get +400 on a Mosley bout, you'd theoretically pounce on it in a second... except for maybe Winky 2, we all knew he would lose. But ya, it goes to show how highly people think of Margarito, and how much Mosley has declined. I think it will be more competitive than the odds suggest, but not compettive enough to bet on Mosley, so it's no play for me. Maybe a Margo KO prop.

Seriously, what do you have against PBF? Did you guys get into it back in the days or something?
