Well, being tha PBF DLH & PBF Hatton were very successful, you tell me if those fights were appealing.

People wanted to see him fight Gatti, so that the sport's best talent could get mainstream exposure. Floyd had proven himself to the dedicated fans by this point.

Lots of people wanted to see him fight Judah. It was thought that an equally quick fighter with greater power could beat him.

There was heavy demand for him to unify against Baldomir. Floyd was entertaining a bout with Cory Spinks, but public demand and criticism made him take Baldomir, who was the undisputed champ of the division.

People wanted to see him fight DLH, as it was the biggest potential EVENT for boxing, and would bring much attention and money, and maybe result in a passing of the torch, to the next generation of elite boxers who can capture national interest.

There high demand for him to fight Hatton. The layman thought Hatton's pressure was the key to beating Floyd. Dedicated fans knew otherwise, but it was still a mega event, and after Hatton had been calling out Floyd publicly, surely fans like yourself would claim he "ducked" Hatton if they didn't fight.

See a pattern? I bet AT THE TIME you didn't oppose any of these bouts. Sure if Mayweatehr continues to fight on, we would expect him to fight the best in his division. But he doesn't owe that to anybody. If he wants to retire and swim in his money, that's his choice.

    You're a piece of ****. Stop wasting everyone's time.

When you have nothing to say in reply, you make it personal. Just get lost.

Appealing yes, but they aren't what boxing fans really want to see.

Boxing fans would have preferred a Margarito/Mayweather fight and even you can't refute that.

Man, no they wouldn't have. How can you say that when no boxing fan was criticizing PBF for fighting DLH, and no one was even talking about AM after PBF & Oscar was signed. Stop making up stuff. If PBF & AM would've happened, it would have did like 500K. 2.4 mil & 500K is a big difference.

I wouldn't of. Margo had done nothing to show even worthy of a fight with Floyd.

    As events, they were.

As contests to prove who is the best fighter in the world at 147 or 154, they were pointless.

Hatton is an OK 147 fighter - a belt holder at best, and Oscar was virtually given his belt at 154, having to face perennial B-Sider Mayorga to get it.

Again, as promotional events, they were appealing. But they had nothing to do with sorting out the best fighters in the respective divisions.

Much like most recent DLH fights. See how DLH went against Pac?
    He was demolished.

Against Floyd? SD. (tho to be fair, I don't think he deserved that).

What does it prove? It proves DLH is nowhere near the top level of fighters in those weight classes.

Ask Roach, who at least was honest when he said there was no way in the world he'd let Pac fight Margarito.
