FOTC because I am a Frazier fan. It was great to see Ali fall on his ass from a Frazier Left Hook.

Agree with what OBC said. However the whole story and the build up behind the Thrilla In Manilla levels it out. I honestly couldn't chose between them.

Fight of the century showcased ali closer to his prime and frazier smack bang in the middle of his, i would say this fight probably is performed at a slightly higher level of technical skill however for a pure action the thrilla was better

FOTC had more going for it....2 undefeated champs, political issues, etc.

Thrilla was 2 worn heavies just beating the hell out of each other.

I went to the closed circuit FOTC and the night was electric.

Both were closer to prime at FOTC.

But the thrilla was , by a slight edge, the more exciting to watch.

Im an Ali fan so might be biased but I really think the 3rd Ali-Frazier fight was the best ever HWT fight & it makes my top 3 fights ever, I regard the FOTC as the 2nd best ever HWT fight & that makes my top 10 fights ever albeit at no10, still not bad tho getting no10 spot eh ?

    :good

    4. Ali/Frazier III
    5. Barrera/Mckinney

    7. Torres/Cotto
    8. Marquez/Vasquez II
    9. Barrera/Morales III
    0. Bowe/Holyfield I
