Somebody has to convince BJ Penn to ask Dana for it. BJ seems to have Dana on a leash and gets everything else he wants, so he is our best bet. Dana is trying to get Fedor to UFC by hyping the **** out of Lesnar. And if Mir beats Lesnar then MIR WILL BE THE OMG OMG OMG THE BEST EVER! Fedor will win over Arlovski, Mir will win over Lesnar and then if we're very lucky Fedor will come and take the UFC HW belt.
He will not allow someone else to come in and take UFC belt for 1 fight. Not gona happen. Unless Fedor pretty much sells his life over to UFC it wont happen. Fedor will not do that. Fedor and UFC will never happen.
i think fedor is honestly wary of fighting in a cage, it really changes the dynamic of the fight, ie. cutting your opponent off, etc.
Kill current UFC management......... Didn't Fedor's open letter pretty much state he would be stuck there till he lost and on their terms? They won't let their champion get beat by a 'non member' because the belt would be a joke. Closest you might get is if there were another strong org that they couldn't ignore. Then there would be 'grudge matches' between the two.
Let him sign a one fight contract. That's what fedor wanted when couture was the champion. If Mir beat lesnar again and if fedor beat arlovski then Mir vs Fedor should be made. Make it a one fight contract for fedor and offer him money he can't refused.

I think that's the point atsch The UFC isn't willing to let Fedor beat their champion & then ride off into the sunset. Dana & friends will want an EXCLUSIVE multi-fight contract at the very least.
I honestly don't care anymore if Fedor fights in the UFC or not. Will it hurt his legacy if he doesn't? I don't think so. Arlovski and Barnett are the two top HWs in the world behind Fedor. And both fight for Affliction.
You are exactly right IMO the UFC has 4 elite Heavys Couture whos almost 46 theres no demand for that fight anymore after Coutures most recent loss,Nogueira who has been defeated by Fedor 2x already,Mir and Lesnar who got unfinished buisness with each other first anyway. I like Mir and Lesnar but Arlovski and Barnett are IMO more dangerous and better overall fighters with better resumes I rank Barnett 2nd in the World and Arlovski 3rd. Take care of them thats more important.
