I would like to think McCloskey will get a shot at Branco for the European title

Hello old pal, how are you keeping. Are you still getting down and dirty with those pipes.I'm sorry your man Pavlik got beat against Hopkins. I hope he comes back stronger.
I see nutter filled you in with most of the updates you were looking. But I noticed he omitted to inform you of the Irish prospects to look out for!
The best prospect in Irish boxing now is Darren Sutherland. Darren recently turned pro after winning a bronze medal at the Olympic Games.Darren has it all, but more importantly he has a knockout punch in either hand. Andy Murray, Gary O'Sullivan and Stephen Haughian are promising prospects also.Irish boxing is going from strenght to strenght at the moment. So get on board, and enjoy the ride.

As far as i know this is a non televised event.
Even though its great when they are televised i feel there should be more small hall non televised events held to get the Irish guys in the ring more often and with the way the pound is now we could get opponents over from england to test our lads not just Latvian dustmen who are going to fall too easily.

No its not on tv. It is a strong card though, with Sinky, Murray, Haughian etc on it. Id imagine it will sell out, which might not be the case if it was on TV. Looking forward to it I must say. Going to Breens tomorrow to do a round of interviews which should be up on the site over the next week.

Has anyone here seen dean byrne fight pro? Plenty of good stories about him.
Its great to see the gym where he is . I listened to roach talking about the gym and how everyone is treated as equal which is good to hear and he seems to get good sparring there. Id love to see him sparring with manny
