Would anyone else rather watch Margarito rematch Clottey for a unifaction match rather than Margarito vs Cotto 2? It makes more sense to me as some think had not Clottey hurt his hand he would have won. If this is bull**** the truth would be revealed by a second victory for Margo plus gaining Clottey's IBF belt.

    Margo v.s Cotto II
    ..for as excitement goes.
Clottey is bit a boring to me actually especially with his defense style of boxing.

  3. Id rather see Margo fight Clotty, simply because CLOTTY would be a tougher more competitive fight:deal
But Margo has to get by Shane 1st and that is NOT going to be a walk in the park:-(

No. The fight vs. Cotto was much more entertaining then the fight vs. Clottey.

True, but the fight vs Clottey means more. Margarito -I might be mistaken- could be undisputed if he wins, which I think is a fifty percent chance. There is Berto as well, but we know it's really Clottey Margarito has to face.

Means more to who? Fans, boxing, or the fighters? Either way, I don't think it makes a big difference in the long run. He wouldn't be undisputed unless he beats Berto as well. I'm all for unifying, but first and foremost, I'd prefer to be entertained. Boxing will very likely NEVER be as big as it was before, or even 5 years ago.

I would prefer it or Margo fight Williams and Cotto fight Clottey, then winner vs winner.

:goodThis is what I was thinking last year when there was all the talk of the best fighting the best. IMO, I don't think Cotto gets first dibs on Margarito. I know Cotto was getting some points and ahead on alot of score cards in that fight with Marg but I saw the ending from round 2 crystal clear and every time I view that fight I don't see it as that competitive instead I see it as Cotto slowly getting cut down. I think Cotto does well with other fighters but I don't see the outcome changing in second fight.

    Between Clottey and Cotto....

Clottey deserves it more than Cotto. It don't matter who is more boring, or which style people like the most. Clottey wasn't stopped. And was whippin his ass before the "injury" to his hand. They should fight again with both fighters at 100% and no excuses.

Cotto should go down to 140 and beat the **** out of Hatton and Pac.

Cotto was completely dominated. It wasn't even him who pushed for the rematch right away, it was Margo.

Unless Mosley surprises us all, I see this fight as a tune up / easy fight for Margo.

Then Cotto fighting Jennings as a warm up. Both take on Williams/Clottey, then winner vs winner.

Id have just liked to seen Clottey vs Cotto and winner get Margarito-Mosley winner. I mean why is Margarito fighting a tough guy like Mosley yet Cotto is fighting someone we dont know just cause he has a belt ? Clottey still has a title right ?

Im not trying to hate on Mosley here.

I dont see Mosley as a threat to Margo, he's old and shot. Not the same fighter.

Both are looked at as warm ups.

I'd be just as happy with Clottey, but Cotto/Margarito is a fascinating combination.
